    Hey guys
So I have decided to finally get the last 2ds device and get some new games
I'm playing currently black 2 on my phone with emulator, also played heart gold

I'm thinking to start with ultra sun or omega Ruby, what will you recommend to start with?
If I get ultra sun, there is any point to play sun in some point also?

Depends on what kind difficulty you want. Omega Ruby is rather easy with the Exp. Share on (not too hard even without it). Ultra Sun is a bit harder from what I have heard and seen.

If you do buy Ultra Sun, then I do not think there is a point in buying Sun. Up until very end the plot is basically the same. Ultra Sun is basically Sun on steroids XD

If you are looking at shiny hunting, most of the gen 1-6 Pokemon are only available through masuda method in gen 7 for shinies. Even with random encounters taken into effect.

Granted the shiny charm is easier to get in gen 7 since you only need 400 instead of 720 or so.

I think the methods are funner in gen 6 as well with chain fishing, dexnav and friend safari

Personally if you want to shiny hunt gen 1-6 Pokemon I'd do it in any gen 6 game over any gen 7 game.

I will check it, I think I'll get ultra sun first and later omega Ruby just to play the remake

What the most challenging games in the series?

Maybe you should buy Sun first, since US is updated and better version of SUN. and OR maybe a good pick too since Wallance will be helpless with your primal groudon.

If its a better version of sun, what the point of buying it at all?

  • I would start with either X or AS. X has good story and atmosphere, customisations and is probably hardest out of the three. AS has has great post-game and is overall good remake (not on the HGSS level, but still enjoyable) with some mechanics from X and some new ones.
Sun (and whole gen VII) wasn't that good imho. It has good Pokemon and region, but it's one big boring tutorial for nothing.

Ultra Sun is sun on steroid and have more to offer than original Sun, but if your a guy who likes mega evolution X/Y or ORAS is good pick too or you can just skip to Z-crystals

I don't find X or Y being hard, the gym leaders and the champion is just cakewalk, but trainers out there is really the challenge
