    It's more the reason behind the action that is looking scummy, or rather in this case, the lack thereof

    I don't think anybody other than desox would have called you scummy if you would have given some reason behind your "action".

    and honestly, ppl would even consider your action viable or something to follow if enough reasoning is provide with it.
