    This Is War
    Rated: PG-16
    Reason: Violence mostly.

    Plot:
Once upon a time, Pokémon and people got along in unity and harmony. They once battled alongside each other, defeating people called "Gym Leaders" and getting stronger as they went. This unity went swimmingly for a very, very long time. It seemed like people and Pokémon were just destined to be partners. Then, in a simple matter of months, the entire peace between the two groups was shattered. Something that had been built up for years and years had been brought down so quickly, and it was soon that hope would be lost for those who believed that people and Pokémon could still be friends.

The event started with a man by the name of Alexander Chocia (pronounced Cho-see-a). He grew up in what one might say a bad background, always getting shunned by his peers because of his fascination with battling and Pokémon stats. He was widely known around his school as a nerd, and then one day he snapped. It was when he was sixteen years old that he began to plot the destruction of his school, using his Absol for help. Alexander carefully planned out each step, until finally he was sure his plan would succeed. That day, the school went down in flames, but so did Alexander. His Absol defended him, and therefore was attacked and destroyed as well. This kicked up widespread controversy. Was it right to slaughter the Pokémon when all it was doing was protecting its trainer?

Many Pokémon felt that no, this was not right. Lots of wild Pokémon soon began to disappear into hiding, becoming rather scarce should one try to look for and capture one. Also, even if one was captured, most often they would fight against their trainer's orders and disrespect their owner. This slowly but surely spread to the already tamed Pokémon, which wasn't a good thing at all. Soon the strongest of Pokémon were beginning to disobey and hate their masters, and it wasn't long before their masters hated them. Tamed Pokémon soon began to flee to the wild, breaking the bonds of their Pokeballs and disregarding everything they had previously known about humans. Finally the strongest person in the world, the Pokémon League Champion Markus Laughin (pronounced Lao-gin), lost the control of his Pokémon as well.

Hope was growing faint that the two species would ever work in harmony again. Soon the humans drew a council. It was between former trainers that had travelled far and wide, and then some. They discussed for many hours what to do about the current situation, because obviously they were not going to back down, and neither were the Pokémon. Finally it was decided. The only way was extermination, and that is exactly what they set out to do. The humans began to come up with weapons of war, most of which consisted of armor and swords. Some scientists did, however, come up with greater uses of technology to further their causes. Thus the Tamer Ball was created.

It is the only thing that the Pokémon truly fear, the Tamer Ball. This particular Pokeball will make anything obey that it captures. There are a few conditions, however. The capture (almost obviously) has to be successful. And the Tamer Ball can only be used once per Pokémon, so the first capture has to count or the Pokémon will be "dark" forever. The humans were ecstatic with this, and went around using it a bit too much. Already a few hundred Pokémon are forever dark, and if they are not careful, more will come. The only thing is that there are people who now have a new hope. That hope is found in the Pokémon Mew.

Mew, the only Pokémon no human has ever seen before, now holds the last hope to mankind. A message has been received through the minds of the greatest (or once greatest) psychics, and it is very clear. Mew wants the Pokémon and humans to work together in harmony once more, otherwise there will be no more of either. Mew is final in its word, and the people know they must do something to fix the mess that has been allowed to get worse. This Pokémon dwells in Mount Silver, a place that is crawling with angry Pokémon and obviously difficult to get to. The climate has changed quite a bit in Johto as well, so this journey will prove difficult.

    Where You Come In:
You are one of the people that has been nominated by the people as a great (former) Pokémon trainer. The people believe that you can save the world, even though you might not be too sure of that. They have the utmost faith in you, and it would be a terrible thing for you to let them down. And, by the way, if you do let them down the world will be destroyed. But no pressure or anything. Along your journey, the Pokémon will be horrid and mean. They will not spare you if they get an opportunity to kill. If, however, you do manage to capture them…then they can be the start of a new era. Don't do anything stupid.

    Setting:
The main event takes place in Johto. You may be from one of the other regions, but Mew resides in Johto and this is where it will all happen. You will start in New Bark Town, but there will be some changes in the course. This is no badge hunting journey; it is one to save mankind. Obviously you must be as efficient and quick as possible, less Mew gets tired of waiting. Johto is obviously not how it used to be. There is little sunshine, so don't expect rays of happiness beaming down on you through the journey. It's changed to a cold and desolate place of little trust.

    Rules:
    1. Please use proper grammar. I'm not going to even bother reading a post with IM/Text characters and chat.
    2. Respect your fellow RPers and me, even if you don't like what I might have happen to your character.
    3. Pie is yummy, remember that.
    4. Being active would be lovely. This won't be a chapter thing, I don't think. I might just type up what happens to each character once they finish a specific segment, but I haven't decided.
    5. Don't make a Mary or Gary, even if your trainer is supposed to be strong.
    6. No godmodding. Not your right. 'Tis mine.
    7. Have fun =3

You CAN make a "hint" at what you want here, but I will not guarantee it. Don't expect a Gible to be around. Think more towards your average starters with maybe some extras. )
Former Team: (Just list the Pokémon they used to have. You can give me their levels and move sets and all of that, but all I really need is a list of the six or less Pokémon.)

    Name: Trent Wilson
    Gender: Male
    Age: 17

Appearence: Trent has bright blue hair that seems to run in the family, much to his embarrassment. Thankfully, he's seen people with far weirder looks. He usually wears simple blue jeans, a gray shirt and a jacket. When it gets cold, he'll trade for his black sweater that is usually stuffed in his backpack. When invited to formal occassions, he'll try to look nice, but will try to stay away from such things since he absolutely loathes snooty people.

On Trent's lazy days he'll go for black sweat pants or jeans with a black sleevless shirt so that he can walk around comfortably. Such an easy outfit is perfect for one when they don't wish to clean up or deal with tight or strange looking clothing. When he switches back to his regular clothing, Trent will stuff them into his bag without even bothering to fold them. After all, it is his lazy day.

Personality: Trent will do anything to get into a competition and win. He will train his body until he can no longer last. The same went toward pokemon battling in the poke' accademy that he went to for most of his childhood. He often trained the pokemon far too hard, almost to the point of physical exhaustion. More often than not he lost because of that and had the pokemon taken away, much to their relief. Because of this he can be easily angered if he finds a partner who is unwilling to take themselves to the limit.

Because of this, it was rather hard to train some of the pokemon he captured because his methods were too harsh. He is not an abuser in any way, but often pushes too much. He had to let go his very first captured pokemon, a Poochyena, simply because she couldn't handle it. It broke his heart, yes, but he did not change his ways. Thankfully he has met plenty of pokemon that were able to handle his harsh training. And good thing too, for he knew that if his pokemon couldn't handle it, they would never reach their full potential, as well as himself.

Trent is not always the training maniac he makes himself to be. There are times he can be exceptionally lazy, especially after some harsh training, or waiting for competetions to start or even waiting his turn in line at the pokemon center. His eyes will droop, and anyone trying to talk with him on one of those days will get a strange look that almost seems like he doesn't care. And depending on the subject he may not care. That is to say he does not care about certain things. He certainly cares about his pokemon and will do whatever possible to make sure they are ok and healthy, though that is not to say he doesn't believe they can take care of themselves.

History: Trent grew up in a simple home in the land of Hoenn. He didn't live in a known city, just one of those little towns you pass on your way and forget about. He has a mom and dad, neither of which are interested in pokemon. Despite living in a small town, they have a huge amount of contacts throughout the region with contacts that makes them a fairly wealthy family. Despite this, Trent never felt any pull towards money or business, and simply wishes to travel the region and, like all the rest, become the best.

It started with his family's guard dog, Arcanine, that gave him his love of pokemon. A thief had broke into their home one night when they were away and thus that's how they got Arcanine. Trent fell in love with the massive dog, much to his parents' grief. They wish he would take over their contacts and get control over businesses, much like them. They only allow him to go on this journey because they are sure he will get over it after a while and come back to them. Trent hoped to prove them wrong.

Prove them wrong he did. Though it was difficult because he didn't have the full six team, and never even got the last member of his team until the sixth badge, Trent managed to defeat the Hoenn gym leaders. Excited and proud of their achievment, Trent and his team got just a bit too cocky in the beginning rounds of the Hoenn League and nearly lost the first round. Thankfully with Sableye's Shadow Sneak, the fiesty little guy managed to slink away from defeat, but it was a lesson that Trent and his pokemon took to heart. Never get too cocky unless they're winning... or if they know for sure they can win. The battles became harsher and harsher as they rose amongst the ranks, much to their sadistic pleasure. The more powerful the pokemon, the bigger the fight, though things did get a bit complicated when Trent was nearly disqualified because Charizard went a little overboard with a powerful close up Flamethrower on a Sceptile. The poor grass type had been unable to battle for months, apparently because the burns were so severe. Though Trent was not disqualified, the young trainer he had battled had pressed charges, though that too was revoked. "If your pokemon can't handle themselves they shouldn't be in a League," Trent had said.

Trent managed to make it to the final round of the pokemon league where he unfortunately lost. It was a close battle. Trent had managed to get the two trainers to their last pokemon: Charizard verse Charizard. His opponents pokemon was nearly just as strong, but because Trent's limit of only having five pokemon, Charizard had been worn down from his previous battle with a Shelgon. Though his pokemon had performed spectacularly and they had made a name for themselves, especially for being noobies, Trent and his team were filled with bitter disappointment. They now strive for more to the point they nearly salivate for the thrill of battle. Unfortunately, fate seems to be against Trent because the distrust between humans and pokemon went on to Trent and his pokemon, and to Trent's horror and dismay, his pokemon left him, leaving him bitter.

With this new thought of a Tamer Ball, Trent will reclaim right as a pokemon trainer and put a stop to this hatred, even if it means changing the pokemon's mind. That is how bitter he has become.

    Starter: Totodile or Snubbull

Former Team: Charizard, Sableye, Golduck, Hitmonlee, Ramphardos

    What's Yummy? Pie is. :D

    Name: Patrick Stevens (Zero)
    Gender: Male
    Age: 19

Appearance: Zero is a tall, thin boy in his late teens. He has an average build, long, black hair that is tied back in a ponytail, and bright green eyes. He prefers comfortable clothing over normal. Every single day, he will be seen wearing athletic shorts and a t-shirt. He likes wearing flip flops, but when he's on adventures he wears shoes for protection. When it gets cold, he wears an expensive looking fur jacket with long, track pants. The article of clothing that Zero changes the most is his hat. He wears all sorts of hats, in all sorts of ways. Some days in the summer, he wears a toboggan. Other times, in the winter, sometimes he wears no hat at all.

Personality: Zero has two very different sides. The first is a very childish, fun loving personality. He loves telling jokes, and sometimes takes things a little too far, all in the name of fun. He can be rather lazy at times, and as a result, only made average grades in school. He didn't really see any need to make perfect grades, so why put in any effort?

On the flip side, at times, Zero can be very thoughtful and mature. Since his mom was such an esteemed scientist, Zero's family was fairly wealthy, and had important people at their house almost nonstop. Since he spent so much time around adults, sometimes Zero seems like an adult himself, which always surprises his friends. When he decided to go on an adventure, his mom knew he would be ready, and did nothing to stop him. In fact, she encouraged him, and secretly was with him every step of the way.

History: When he lost his father, he lost his best friend. His mother was always working, or at some social event. He could never play with her. The only things he could turn to were his Pokemon. A few years later, when he entered the training school, the bonds he had made with his Pokemon were incredibly tight. They trained together, ate together, slept together. You would never see them apart. Zero never wanted his Pokemon to get hurt, so he would be seen going over strategies and learning everything he possibly could about Pokemon. It was the only place he could turn. With all this knowledge, he was at the very top of the trainer school. That's how he got his nickname. He never lost a single battle in the trainer school.

His father died in a fire. As a result, Zero has developed a fondness of Water Type Pokemon, and his greatest ambition when he got older was to open a Water Gym in his hometown. He even received special training from the Dynamic Duo, Misty and Crasher Wake, courtesy of his mother. He does, however, know that a full water team would be prone to too many weaknesses, so he went out on an adventure to find the strongest Pokemon he could to support his aquatic team.

When he was nearing the end of his adventure, he received a letter saying that he was invited to the Pokemon League, held at Indigo Plateau. He immediately headed east to the tournament. He did incredibly well for a 1st time contestant. He made it to the last round of 4, and narrowly escaped with a win in the semifinals. In the final match, he was up against the reigning champion, Reece Parker. It was once again a close match. Each contender had one Pokemon remaining. Zero's Starmie against Reece's Rapidash. Things were looking good for Zero, but Rapidash narrowly dodged the finishing blow and hit Starmie dead on with a Solar Beam attack. That knocked it out in one shot. Since that day, Zero had been back on another adventure, when he noticed his Pokemon showing disloyalty to him. They eventually just left him. He returned home, alone again, when he was summoned to a council.

He will always remember his team though. Starmie, Alakazam, Staraptor, Machamp, Ampharos, and Gengar. Team Sasmag.

Zero thinks that if he could find a Starly early on, it would be just swell.
Oh, also his favorite food is pie. He thinks it is scrumptious.

    Name: Daniel Sheppard (Dan)

    Gender: Male

    Age: 16

Appearance: Dan has shiny blonde hair with freckles of sun-kissed gold, its normally in a shaggy, just woke up look. He is normally has the normal white colored skin, but that only shows during the 3 winter months when he doesn't have his sand color tan. He is 5'11" and wears a scar on his left arm from being clawed by a Persian.

Dan always wears a red short sleeve shirt, with a fire emblem, to show he is a fan of fire-types. He wears the normal denim jeans, there normally a light blue. In each one pocket he has his pokédex and in the other he has 3 empty, shrunken pokeballs. He wears a pitch black belt that he carries his active team's pokeballs. When it is cold outside he wears a unzipped jacket, so one may still see his fire emblem. He has a black backpack. The main compartment stores a disordered group of potions. The front pocket cares his pokeballs while the side pockets carry his tm case and his ect items

Personality: Dan is very friendly, he never lets someone who is pissed or sad go without cheering them up. Other than being a great trainer he also looks to be a great friend to his Pokémon. He cares for his Pokémon with great care, always making sure he has enough pokefood and other supplies. If he isn't surrounded by friends he is surrounded by Pokémon.

Sometimes though he gets in a depressing mood where although he knows he has friends he doesn't think he's ones best friend. When he gets in these modes he often isolates himself and loses his cheerfulness. He normally sits and think for hours talking to no one human or Pokémon. After several hours of thinking and crying he realizes he is at lease the best friends of his Pokémon he snaps out of this.

History: When Dan was 7 he began training to be a Pokémon trainer. By age 8 he had already caught and evolved a pidgey to a pidgeot solely training on Pokémon found on route 1, not being able to leave the area of his town. When he was age 9, when he was out training his pidgeot, he met a rocket leader torturing the wild Pokémon. Dan sent out pidgeot to defend the Pokémon. After the long battle pidgeot won, just then the team rocket member ran towards Dan, stole pidgyeot's pokéball, and shattered it. Pidgeot having no ball to return to flew away.
At age 11 Dan received his 2nd Pokémon from professor oak. He ended up receiving the only fire type Pokémon oak had, a growlithe. He traveled far and wide across kanto looking for the best team. Along the way he battled many trainers. By age 12 and a half he claimed all badges and waited for the next indigo session. At the age of 13 he beat the indigo becoming the youngest trainer to do so. In the 3 years after he has worked on completing his pokédex. He has visited Johto three times, being the closest, Hoenn twice, and even once he went to the new found land of Sinnoh.

Along the way he put constant obstacles in the way of team rocket. He smash the first computer controlling Mewtwo's creation causing many complications and problems. He also broke a device trying to amplify a Pokémon's power. One of his greatest obstacles was when he had his Arcanine torch one of team rockets bases. While in Johto he noticed many rockets lurking in the shadow, the number increasing over the years, and realized they were trying to settle in the region, although there was nothing he could do right then he couldn't wait for the time when he would be able to extract some more pay back

    Starter "Hint": Charmander

Former Team: Arcanine, Gengar, Cloyster, Pikachu, Tyranitar, Pidgeot (Different)

Ghasteon: I just have a couple things about yours. The first one being paragraphs. I don't know if you normally do it this way (because I didn't require a post sample), but I'd prefer if you separated your paragraphs with a separate line. For example:

    Random thing someone is saying.

Big paragraph explaining something or another.

Or just look at the people's above SUs =P

It just makes it easier for me to read it. But then again, I'm not sure if that's how you normally type or not. If not, please try to do that =) Another thing...your paragraphs are a little small, just for the purpose of a sign up. So if you beef them up a little, then I'll probably accept you =) You have some grammar errors, but nothing major that bugs me. For now you're pending.

    Name: Katie Parry
    Gender: Female
    Age: 16
    Appearance:
    This Is War

Katie is a small girl with beautiful blue eyes. She usually wears her blue-dyed hair in a ponytail, however when no one is looking she puts her hair down for a few seconds. She thinks she doesn't look good with hair down. She has really skinny legs and fit great with skinny jeans. Her left foot is perfect, however her right middle toe was cut off in an accident involving Team Rocket. She is about 5 foot 10, and she weighs about 183 pounds. She has long, beautiful arms with blue-colored fingernails. A Pokeball can barely fit in to her hand. She has a birthmark on her right arm, and she has a long scar going from her collar bone to midway through her back. Her eyes are normal sized, and her nose is small compared to others. Her nose is darker than the rest of her face. Her mouth is painted with blue lipstick, and she has a serious tan, living in Sootopolis City for most of her life. Her bellybutton is at an akward position, being 2 inches to the right of a human's bellybutton. She was born. She is tall compared to other girls her age. Also, she weighs so little that people think she looks like a stick. She tries really hard to keep in shape. Her face is average sized, and her chin looks like everyone else's chin.

Katie has quite a small wardrobe. In case you didn't notice from the first paragraph, she is in love with the color blue. So she wears blue, which is her favorite color [just to get that through], and occasionally adds spice in like pink, red, or yellow. Her favorite outfit consists of her pink Sootopolis Suns baseball cap, her pink sunglasses that are too big for her, a blue sleeveless tank top that is highlighted by a rose-colored jacket. She wears pink underwear [not that it matters at all] highlighted [and covered] by her favorite blue skinny jeans. Her favorite color mix is blue and pink, and that is why her clothes are like that. She also occasionally wears yellow jackets and her Pacifildog Pounders gray baseball cap. She likes wearing the same outfit lots of times, and once she finds a good one she'll keep wearing it.
    Personality:
Katie is a girl who likes being at the top of things. She hates authority. Hates it. She is very rebellious - she hates when people state they have higher authority than her. That is why she was homeschooled - she could not stand the teachers or principals. She is really great at math - while in 6th grade, she was taking classes in Algebra 1. Something she doesn't understand is love. She has never loved anyone - even her parents. She treats them as friends, not relatives. She likes being alone. People called her the "definition of antisocial." Which, even she can't argue with, is a true statement. When her parents force her to talk to people she stutters and doesn't know what to say. And talking to adults is like being slapped in the face. They assume they have higher priority over her. She gets UPSET. On the flipside of being rebellious and antisocial, she has a high perseverance rate. One time, she ran into a Combusken and threw over 60 Pokeballs at it! The bad side of being homeschooled is that she doesn't have a real teacher. So when she gets a homework assignment she doesn't fully understand it. That is how she gets her perseverance - and when she gets something done, her self-esteem is raised.

Katie hates people with too high self-esteem. They think way too highly of themselves. They think no one could beat them or top them. They think they have high authority. In case you haven't noticed, that is Katie's main beef. If she could do one thing in the world, she would make everybody in the world even. Something Katie also hates is put-downs. When people hurt or talk down others, she gets really mad. She won't help the kid who got bullied, but she will tell of the bullier. Because they think they have higher authority, they can do whatever they want. Bullies and the kid who got bullied should be even, so they would all get along. The last thing Katie really hates is conflict. She hates when people and Pokemon fight. She wants everyone and everything to be equal, so they would get along.
    History:
Katie was born to the island metropolis of Sootopolis City. She was in love with Pokemon. Anything she did, she did it with Pokemon, even if they weren't hers. Her favorite Pokemon was this Pokemon that showed up in the water every day she went swimming. Everybody called it a Seaking. One day, coincidently the day before she got her Pokemon, it died of old age. She was shocked. It was, technically, her best friends. She swore that she would beat the Pokemon league and put in in her honor. When she turned ten, she recieved a Pokemon named Wingull from the gym leader of the town at the time - his name was Juan. She had always admired Juan. She loved all of the things that he could do - he could tame Pokemon and treat them with respect. He could use them beautifully both in battles and contests. She had once watched him in the Hoenn Contest Championship. Juan told Katie that if she wanted to be like him, he should train against all of the gym leaders, from Kanto, The Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. Then she could challenge the Pokemon leagues, and be crowned the Pokemon master. Along the way she befriended many Pokemon, including a Ralts, a Wartortle, a Wigglytuff, a Numel and a Tangela.

She told her parents that she wanted to become a Pokemon master by defeating every gym from every region. Her grandpa, Steven, supported the idea and told her he could fly her to Rustboro City on his Skarmory. She first arrived in the gym and was shocked by the breathtaking display of rocks and trainers. She slowly but proudly walked up to the lady who was standing on top of what seemed like a Plateau. "Hello... are you Roxanne?" "Yes I am." "Can we have a battle?" "Sure, let's do it!" So from that point on, she went through Hoenn beating off Roxanne, Kingo, Wattson, Flannery, Norman, Erin, and the duo of Tate & Liza. She was really nervous going in to the battle with Juan. Juan was her "sensei." She thought of him as almost godly. She finally got the courage and faced him - she won. Juan was very proud. He told her that she should challenge Ever Grande's Pokemon league.

She did. She won. She was the winner of Hoenn's Pokemon league for that year. She was recognized by a large parade in Sootopolis. She was very highly desired. She won the Pokemon league for 3 years after that, as well. She was definately a Champion.

~Hot n' Cold~: Alright, I have a couple things that bug me. The name, first of all, mostly because it's basically the same as the singer. Though I suppose it's spelled differently or summat? Ah well, I can deal. A few grammar errors but, once again, I can deal. The final thing. Is her grandpa Steven the Champion? Or just some dude named Steven? Because I'm not setting this in the time frame of the Champion Steven, so if that's the case then could you please edit? But if you don't want to, whatever. I'm going to accept you =)

And a side note to everyone:
This RP WILL start Saturday or Sunday, depending on when I have time to type it. I have at least three people, so if you want to join post in the OOC thread.

Appearance: Zypher is an average twenty year old when it comes to height. He stands at about 5'11, maybe 6'1 if you count his spiky white hair. As I just mentioned he has white hair which is odd for someone at the age of twenty. Zypher has a very athletic build to him, this is probably because he does his training with his pokemon such as running, lifting etc. He has light blue eyes that give comfort and peace to almost anyone who stares into them.

As far as clothing is concerned Zypher wears a white long sleeve under armour shirt with a light blue t-shirt pulled over top. He usually is wearing blue athletic under armour pants since he likes to feel comfortable and work out during the day. To top of the outfit as you would guess he wears a pair of nike tennis shoes, as well as to white wrist bands on his wrist.

Personality: Zypher is a very caring and loving person. No matter what gets thrown his way he always has a smile on his face for some reason or another. Zypher enjoys picking out the little things in life to be happy about, he believes that no one has any reason to ever be un happy with their lives and if they are they just have no idea how truly blessed they are to be alive. At any moment if he saw another human being in danger he would give up his life to save another.

History: Zypher was born and raised on Cinnabar Island in Kanto. Zypher didn't come from a wealthy family but he did have a happy one, his parents loved and cared for him. As well he had the two best friends in the whole world or so he thought anyways. There names were Beo, and Sly. The three of them did everything together until one unfortunate day when the three of them had been hanging down by the shore line below Beo's house. No one knew about it but Beo had been suffering from hallucinations of a man cloaked in black, and nightmares and visions of a future where Kanto is destroyed and people are being killed. Well on this day he began to have another one, and he saw himself in the vision as the man causing the destruction to Kanto, so he took his own life at the age of 7. Thats when Zypher realized that he needed to be the type of person who helped others in need.

That very same year though Zypher become really sick and his hair changed color from brown to white. The hair become permenant, he could have had it died like his parents insisted but he said it brought out the light inside of him. Eventually after a long time of not getting better they went to the hospital only to find out he had a treatable amount of cancer in his body, so after a year of chemo he was became better.

When Zypher turned eighteen him and Sly went there sepearte ways, Sly went off to Johto as Zypher stayed here in Kanto. He had just got all eight of his gym badges when this incident took place, and if it was not for this incident who knows Zypher may have become Kanto's next pokemon champion, but obviously that was not his fate, no fate had something else in store for this young man.

Sacred Beo: I like it in total. The personality was a little short, but that's fine =) Your form of pie would be more preferable, but that's alright XD Oh, you're accepted.

    Chapter 1: Your First Trial
You can make this one or two posts, I don't care.

Finally the day has come. All of you have arrived in the land of Johto, and in the small town of Newbark. This little town has changed quite a bit over the past few years. It looks less inviting, and more like a place of no return. This is where the main encampment for the humans is, so it also looks like something of a war-zone. The only building actually left standing is the old Pokemon laboratory, formerly run by countless brilliant professors. Now it has been turned into something akin to the human's base, so it has obviously been upgraded with countless weapons and things to keep Pokemon out. You have received directions that it is here where you will get your details of what you are supposed to do, so this is the first (and really only available) place you go.

When you knock on the door, it's apparent that they have some tight security around this place by the sheer amount of time (only about five minutes, but still) it takes them to actually open the doors. When they do, a rather muscular army-like man steps out. His hair is in the average crew cut and seems to be a dark color, but you can't really tell. He's wearing cameo pants and green combat boots. This man's shirt is a white tank top, but what might interest you the most is the small weapon belt at his hip and the gun slung across his back.

"You one of the trainers?" he asks gruffly.

You might nod or respond, and this makes him nod as well. He glances around and then shoves you into the stronghold, saying that you're going to just go on without a big group. He explains that splitting up is better, because it gives wild Pokemon less opportunity to attack. That, obviously, would be a very bad thing.

You might inquire how the Pokemon of this region act. The commander (or lieutenant, you don't really know which) sort of smirks and glances back at you as he leads you through the corridors. He'll say that these are the most raging Pokemon of any region. They will attack without mercy. Once one of them (even if it's just a Rattata) brings you down, they'll swarm you and you will most likely never get back up again. He stops talking to allow you to sink this information in, and you can react to it in multiple ways. Then he continues with their major plan. Fix the Pokemon of this region, talk to Mew, and then hopefully all will be well again.

"Here we are," he says finally, leading you through another steel door and into a messy room with numerous computers and paperwork. "This is basically our research facility. Here you will be equipped with one weapon of your choice, a weapon belt akin to mine, and a little bit more information on this whole thing. Good luck." Then the commander/lieutenant person leaves, and it's then that you realize that you never actually got his name.

"Hello there!" a new, more friendly looking man will say. He claims your attention by handing you a belt that's completely black in color, with little odds and ends on it. "There's a dagger in there, just incase Pokemon get too close without you being able to capture them. We also have a canteen, a compass, a GPS, and...huh. Oh well, you'll find out." You can put it on or stow it in your bag, whichever you prefer. Or you could even decline it, but that might not be smart. "And now you can choose your weapon." Take your pick of whatever you want. I don't care. Just remember; this a journey, so something gigantic won't go well. Choose wisely, otherwise I might have to pick for you in the end. "And finally, I give you this."

He hands you a small, silver handheld. It looks almost exactly like an iPhone, but with a few differences. The back is made of steel, there is no case for it, and the screen is made of the toughest materials they could get. "That will explain the recent occurrings of the region. It will also provide you with information on the Pokemon when you battle them." The man pushes up his wiry glasses, and then glances around to make sure he hasn't forgotten anything. "I suppose that's all. I suggest you capture the first Pokemon you see, no matter what." Then he goes back over to a computer and sits down. "You can make your own way out, because the journey begins now." Thus you leave the building, and immediately head outside. The dank atmosphere might depress you for a moment, but you press on towards what was formerly known as Route 29.

The route, from what you can tell of it so far, has old trees that look completely dead with few bushes and grass. Yes, the grass still stands...but it almost seems to be made of ash, like the world itself is about to crumble to dust. You try not to think about this as you go on, but suddenly there is a rustle to your right or left or back or front. You whip around, looking for what it is, when suddenly a thing comes out of the shadows of one of the bushes. It seems alone, but the sight of the growling thing scares you. This is your first test. Successfully capture your "partner" with one of the Tamer Balls located on the weapons belt the man gave you. If you threw it out...well, luckily for you they planned this and snuck and extra into your pack while you weren't looking.

I stared off the hull of the boat, looking directly at what looked like Ground Zero itself. What has happened here, I wondered. I remember what this place used to look like. It was sprawling with life, full of happy faces and quaint abodes. Now it looks like a bomb has exploded here. "Alright trainers, you guys will step peacefully off the boat. Do not make a ruckus or the Pokemon will hear you. You will go through the door to that lab right over there," what looks like a military officer said, and he pointed at a laboratory in a deplorable condition. "Upon entry, our professor shall great you. He will direct you from there."

I carefully stepped off of the boat. Geez, this place is more beat up than a nerd at high school. I tiptoed over the large, empty battlefield that was New Bark Town. Once the other four trainers and I arrived at the "lab," I knocked on the door. I could hear small pounding footsteps coming towards us, then multiple locks clicking. *Click* *Clack* *Slide* *Click* *Click* *Ker-Plunk* *Smack* *Boom.* The door opened and a skinny man with scruffy hair appeared in the doorway. His appearance startled me.

He quickly pulled us inside. His scratchy voice uttered "are you the trainers?" We all agreed. We didn't look like we could ever be together, though. A freak with bright blue hair, a goth kid with a ponytail, a girl dressed in blue and pink, a poser with spiky white hair, and a freckleface.

"Yes," I said quietly. He nodded. "I am Mania. I am the current professor of the Newbark Chapter of the Human Resistance," the professor exclaimed. "Your mission is the save the world. Pokemon are on the rage. You must stop them before it is too late. If you capture them, they will take friendship to you. You must capture as many Pokemon as you can. You will be splitting up into groups of 1. That gives the Pokemon less options to attack. Follow me."

I carefully but quickly trailed behind the professor, where he led me to a large set of stairs. "Walk down these stairs. There you will meet General Surge. He will debrief you and give you further instructions." I trotted down the stairs. Once we arrived in the HQ Room, I couldn't believe my eyes. There was so much technology! "Greetings. I am General Surge. Here you will get further debriefing on your mission. Your main mission is to find this Pokemon." He pointed to a cat-like Pokemon on a computer screen. "This Pokemon is Mew. You have heard of it before. It wants world peace as well. The Pokemon in Hoenn are the fiercest of all the regions. If even one Rattata tramples you, hundreds of them will swarm you and you will never get back up again." It took my brain a while to let that sink in. Then the General kept talking. "The only way to get the world back in peace if if you went to visit Mew. It is the only Pokemon that is on our side. It wants to stop our fighting."

He lead us down another corridor.

OOC: Please copy my dialogue, because these stories should at least partly fit together.
