Solo Challenge

Rules:

1. The challenge is over when you beat Red
2. You're only allowed to battle with one Pokemon. Shark it in so you can use it in the beginning.
3. You can evolve it if you start with a Pokemon that evolves.
4. Update frequently
5. No legendaries
6. You can have HM Slaves (unlimited, but you really don't need more than 2)
7. I can't think of any more rules, so have fun!

well, since i already finished one with hoothoot/noctowl, so i should use hoppip/skiploom/jumpluff on crystal.

After I finish playing another run, I'm going to do this for a second time, first time there wasn't a thread so I did it on my own with Cynda/Quilava/Typh.

Just a question, can HM slaves be used as Revive slaves?

I'm not sure what the normal rules are about the HM Slaves, but I know I sometimes do that, so sure, revive slaves are fine.

hmm.. i might try this in the future, since this is the easiest generation by far, the first half of the challenge will be easy. dunno about kanto, tho. but im not doing it now, im already doing the gym leader one, and i have studying to do.

Ok, named myself Bart, picked Cyndaquil as starter, journeyed to Cherrygrove Town, received the Map Card, receievd teh Mystery Egg and the Pokedex. Battled the rival and named him ???. Caught my solo runner Hoppip.

lol, the first time i played the game, i almost named him ???, but my friend stopped me at the last second.

Gonna do this with Scyther. I'm rather bored, so i'll keep mah updates fun =D

Hacked my starter to be Scyther =D

The day started off WTFy.
The voice of an old mans ghost asked me what the time was.
I was like "Eh bro your dead. What's the time to you?"
But it's an old man so I answered =P
Then he got revived! And then he died again, so that was seriously creepy.
He asked me what my name is. I answered BUGLORD, unknowing that the dude would change my name for good! Then he actually left for realz bish.
At least I got rid of him.
Now I really woke up. Mom gave me mah Pogekearz =D
I went to doc, I was liek what up doc?
He decided to give me a pokemanz for an errand, a rare one at that. But he had three of them!
Ok, let's go, one for one. First some kind of dog was there, then an alligator and then...
A HUGE BUG! Seriously, that was a creepy part.
Picked it, stole it's berry because he's not mine. Also found out he's Lvl1.
(Yeah I did make it Lvl1 for the sake of it being Scyther =D).

I suck at pokemon yet I pulled of 2 solo runs.
Just try it ;)

You can make it as hard as you'd want to.. I wantto do one with Ledyba but just need to pace myself.
