Solo Challenge

I know that, but I have gone through this game many times and I wanted to try something different, so I tried to use a random pokemon that I have never used before.

Well I decided to tackle this challenge.

Started with Crystal. Created a player, named her "Arden" and caught a Pidgey. Named him "Yorick". Never knew that grinding till you get Gust with a Pidgey and then assaulting Sprout Tower was so easy.

Will update every 2 gyms. I am currently at Azalea town.

This is before GoldenRod Gym!

Well ... that was easy O.O Headbutt = 1 KO Miltank ... lol ?

And this is Before the 5th gym , Rocket Hideout.

Why did I skip updating the 4th gym ? Well ... Since Morty's gym was just a 1 Hit - KO festival more or less ... I didnt even bother see what the trainer had , I just spammed Bite :P .

Btw I need a move to replace Charm , it's getting old and I havent used it YET :/ Any advice?

I would probably give it either Ice or Thunder Punch, just for the versatility.

1. F12 , Then check the folder your Emu is in. Btw if it doesnt say screen captured in the bottom left corner then check your controls , it'll be under "Screen capture".
2. Punches can be bought in TM's in Goldenrod. the floor under the drinks.

I would probably give it either Ice or Thunder Punch, just for the versatility.

I've speculated on Ice punch , so Ice punch it is!

This is after Jasmine, I realised when I went to Chuck that I had totally forgotten about the lighthouse ... and therefore went back and forth since I dont have a FLY HM slave xD) therefore more EXP from Cruels >:D DIE YOU SILLY SQUIDS! *Cough* ... Moving on.

She wasnt much of a big shot either ... Fire punch KO'd everything in one hit.

This is AFTER I've beaten Clair , everything is so easy with the attack that Granbull have! :O

Everything in there were a 1 Hit KO Frenzy with Bite / Headbutt.
(Even Kingdra ... *Sight*) Now since she's a naughty little child (Well , she's as tall as the sprite of a 10 year old, so what did ya expect?) she wanted me to go through a horrible maze , with horrible trainers and with a horrible pop quiz, which I havent finished yet ... Due to horrible trainers slowing down the process and with other stuff ... The only thing I fear in the future is Mach punch (Wait ... is it in Gen 2?) And Machamps revenge if it survives a Headbutt :O ! (I'm talking about E4 , since it looks like Will and Koga will be a piece of cake!)

Update!

• After waaaay too many attempts, (dam Miltank!) I beat Whitney
• Blazed through to Ecruteak, imeadiately pwning Morty (easiest... gym... EVER)
• Beat all the Kimono girls, thus gaining Surf.
• Went to Olivine and stormed the Lighthouse!
• Taught Surf to Kazap! and surfed to Cianwood
• Got Shuckie and taught him Strength and Rock Smash (forgot about those but whatever)
• Blazed through Cianwood Gym, got the bdge and Fly
• Brought back the SecretPotion and cured Amphy
• Trounced Jasmine and got her badge
• Went to Mahogany, beat the Red Gyarados, stormed TR's base with Lance and then owned (I'm running out of verbs...) Pryce.
• Went through the Ice Cave completely forgetting about Goldenrod's Radio Tower plot thing
• Got to Blackthorn then flew to Goldenrod and reminded TR just how feeble they are
• Saved the Director and recieved the Card Key.

Thats what I'm up to now. Still playing!

is the true expression of a champion!)

Alright. I was home sick today, so I decided to see if I could beat this challenge in one day. It was actually surprisingly easy.

Spoiler:

Took totodile as an HM slave
Did all the beginning things until I was able to catch a Nidoran by sharking it in
Grinded Nidoran up to level 16, evolved into Nidorino
Defeated all of sprout tower, nidorino got to level 17
Defeated falkner
Double kicked my way through Rock Tunnel
Bugsy was no challenge as my Nidorino was 10 levels higher than his pokemon
Defeated rival (Gastly was really annoying as the only non-normal/fighting move that I had was poison sting)
Learned my lesson and taught Mud-Slap to Nidorino
Taught cut to Totodile
Got to Goldenrod and bought fire and ice punches for the future
Got Nidorino to level 28 before challenging Whitney
Much like Rock Tunnel, Double-kicked my way through the gym, which was surprisingly easy
Caught the Sudowoodo, taught it Rock Smash
Beat the Kimono girls and taught Surf to Totodile
Morty was surprisingly difficult and Nidorino fainted twice, but I finally beat him on the third try when Nidorino was at level 37
Took a painful trip all the way back to New Bark Town, used Totodile to surf and get the Moon Stone in Tohjo Falls, evolved Nidorino into Nidoking and taught Nidoking Shadow Ball, Fire Punch and Ice Punch
Caught a Pidgey to use for fly
Taught strength to Sudowoodo
Used shadow ball to get past Chuck
Taught fly to Pidgey and flew back to Olivine
Used Fire Punch to take down jasmine easily
Went to Mahogany, beat team rocket
Took down Pryce with a few Shadow Balls and a Fire Punch
Beat team rocket again
Defeated clair using ice punch
Didn't realize that Totodile cant learn waterfall so, I caught a Goldeen
Started elite four at level 64
Will went down to a couple fire punches and a few shadow balls
Three fire punches, an earthquake and an ice punch were enough to defeat Koga
Earthquaked all of Bruno (Machamp was the first Pokemon to actually do damage on me)
Karen was defeated basically the same way
Ice Punched all of the Dragonites and became the League champion
This is getting very long so I will basically sum it up by saying that I defeated the next 8 gyms with relative ease
Finally decided to take on red at level 82
Used Earthquake on Pikachu
Used Shadow Ball on Espeon
Used Earthquake on Blastoise, Snorlax and Venusaur
Used Shadow Ball on Charizard

Final Pokemon:
Nidoking Lv. 83
Fire Punch
Shadow Ball
Ice Punch
Earthquake
Attack: 210
Defense: 196
Special Attack: 196
Special Defense: 180
Speed: 206

Don't know what happened but everything is gone. My VBA, my roms, even my freakin homework. (I kept everything on my pendrive)

If I can somehow get it back I'll update sometime today or tomorrow. If not, I'll redownload everything and start again I suppose

Turns out it wasn't just a glitch or anything. Somehow my pendrive has been wiped... :S
When I get the VBA and the games I downloaded back, I'll start again with Smoochum/Jynx!
