    A while ago, Serebii.net linked to a site saying how Pokemon Black and White already have over a million pre-orders before their release, and they expect to reach 1.5 million by the time September 18th gets around. This is the original article (in Japanese, of course, but I used Google Chrome's translator to get the gist of it, lolo).

    Anyhow, regardless of whether you're getting Black, White, or both, I'm interested in knowing how many of you have already pre-ordered the game?

    I already did, but not at PlayAsia (the links here in PC). I don't know about people in the USA, but I ordered at YesAsia* instead because at least for me (I'm in Canada) it's cheaper. Both sites are reliable (I read the reviews and most customers seem quite satisfied, so), so hopefully my order arrives in a timely fashion. :D My reason for pre-ordering is simple: I think the gameplay looks great, even if (most of) the Pokemon aren't (in my opinion, anyways). Plus most of the characters are interesting, and I'm sure I'll find at least a few Pokemon I like. :3

    Sooo... vote and discuss?


    (*) I hope mentioning this isn't considered advertising (there is a member going around advertising pre-ordering the games at YesAsia in threads and their sigs, lmfao); I don't really care whether people pre-order at one site or the other, I'm merely stating that it was cheaper for me to order at YesAsia.

    I'm not pre ordering and don't plan to there won't be a lack of Pokemon games out...Plus nothing worth a subway sandmich (5 bucks for preordering) in pre order bonuses so I'll buy the game and get a subway sandmich instead xD
     
    I'm waiting until they are available to preorder in North America, and until we've seen the english box cover.
     
    I don't plan on pre-ordering B/W because it may be a bit of a hassle. I plan on getting them a few days/weeks after they're released.

    I am not patient enough to wait till it is out in Aus. so I will order it when it is out in USA.
     
    WEll yes hoppefully i will pre-order it. But i still need a new DS but its hard, either i pay 129 for an american ds lite, but then i wouldnt be able to trade or use the camera thing, or. I pay 300 for a japanese dsi LL and but might get caught by customs.
     
    I pre-order the jap. Pokemon Black.
    And will buy pokemon White when it comes out in europe.

    Well thats what im gonna do, instead of buying a dsi ll im gonna buy me a new ds lite and buy 2-3 learning japanese books.

    Um, what do you mean you wouldn't be able to trade? O_o The Pokemon games currently sold by YesAsia and PlayAsia are region-free, so even though it's in Japanese the games will work with a DS, DS Lite or DSi regardless of whether you get a DS in America or Japan. So you should be able to trade...

    The game will work on the various DSs due to being region free, however if I'm not mistaken the Wi-Fi business is a different matter.

    Juat realised, some people here have Japanese Pokemon, so I'm probably telling porkies!

    No no no. I forgot to add. Its beause i have WPA at home, and its too much of a hassle to change. Plus its so slow.
     
    I've pre-ordered the Japanese versions quite a while back. White for me, Black for my brother. It's almost out! =D
     
    I have indeed pre-ordered it. Not for myself though but i have pre-ordered white for my gf. :3 I would have ordered it for myself too, however me + Japanese = lolno. So im gonna wait for the US/English version for myself.

    Wow i actually posted outside of S+M, i feel vulnerable aaaa lol.

    Weel you could do like im gonna do, buy some japanese learning guides with it. + My japanese guide for the ds.
