Do you have difficulties learning on subjects and/or part of a subject?
Even though it's hard for you to learn on that subject do you still study on it or just continue procrastinating?
Will you stop being a nerd?

I have difficulty learning algebra, trigonometry and geometry but I excel in calculus and algorithm. I also like history when it comes to Hitler and war stuff but when it's not I kinda get bored to it.

I have difficulty in Maths. I don't know, I know how to do this question, but I kept making careless mistakes, kept forgetting how to solve it, and kept forgetting the formula. And whenever I see number problems, my eyesight goes blurry.

I don't know why, I also don't know why I excel in English. I just can't explain in to people.

you should try and learn it or ask for help
maths is very important when playing pokemon

    I'm pretty good at Geometry.
I could give you a few tips.

I feel your pain though. I seriously feel your pain. Math for me is sometimes...just so ugh! It's difficult.

I can see the real logic in basic algebra and such, but I really don't see the logic in subjects like geometry and calculus unless the field you're going into requires it. x3

Math is not my problem, I'm, while not good, decent at it. Sometimes it can be a bit confusing, sometimes I hate it, but usually it's fun. I can't analyze a poem to save my life though, to hell with them >:(
Physics and Music are two more subjects I'm having huge trouble with, but oh well, I was able to unselect Physics some time ago, and Music is of minor importance.
By the way, I do think that of all these things I mentioned, math is by far the most helpful one for later, even if it does contain some nonsense we all know and hate.

My real problem with school is the fatal fact that I keep getting distracted faster than I can think "I'm going to concentrate on this now", especially when attempting to do something school-related at home.

    Ancient Greek.
Seriously, WHY IN THE WORLD do we have to be taught ancient Greek? In order to be able to communicate with the locals when we travel back in time? I never pay attention, due to the fact that it is the most useless lesson I've ever seen.

If I had problems with anything in school, it was math. I could grasp it okay but I had to do my homework otherwise I'd never grasp it. Some parts of it just confused me... and the longer I'm out of school, the fuzzier things get. If you handed me anything beyond a basic algebra problem now I'd get completely lost.

I also never consider myself good with analyzing literature, but I never got awful grades in English, so maybe not so much? If anything, I take books at surface-value too often, I guess. If I put my mind into thinking deeper I can usually find something.

I used to be pretty great in school, but honestly, I'm just getting so burnt out with it that I'm losing focus fast. I think I should work something out to where I don't go to college during the second semester, because I do just terrible... and it's not like the classes are any harder or anything. I'm just a lot lazier in the winter, and I don't want to spend hours days studying something when I could be sleeping, working, or socializing.

That being said, my new personal enemy is Anatomy. Sure, I took it in high school with no real problems, but it gets crazy complex in college. I think I'm supposed to know around 100 muscles, where they originate, where they insert, and the actions they perform by tomorrow... and I know like three. Maybe. On top of that, I've procrastinated too long and now I have three essays due for an English portfolio tomorrow as well - oh, and a Sociology quiz. Almost forgot that last one.

So, it's not so much that I'm bad in any subject... it's that I'm currently too uninterested to actually stay afloat. It's like having senioritis, but so much worse 'cause I can't get away with it.

I'm terrible at math. I used to be good at it when I was younger, but I just can't grasp the formulas and stuff now, it just makes no sense.

I'm also not good at guitar; but that's my fault. I just need to pay attention to grasp it, I'm easily distracted in the class, and that's why I'm not so good at it.

Science is my favorite subject and I'm really good at it. But when it comes to math being added to the subject, I just literally die. Math is my worst enemy and I was never good at it since 6th grade. :(

The only time I find myself using geometry is when I'm calculating what angle & speed I need to approach a turn & end up in a proper line in Need for Speed. :D

    Sorry, high school. You tried.

Hm, I understand now. We have weaknesses in our education mostly in math subjects. Thanks guys this will be helpful for my Psychology Survey Project. :D

I do the exact same thing when coming to an extremely share curve but other than that I use math to do a whole lot of nothing.

Wow. A lot of maths-hate going on here lol. I'm going to buck the trend and say I actually quite like maths and think it's pretty straight-forward.

Also, in answer the the original question, will 50x + 100 = y help me in my life? Well, if you want to go to university to study any kind of maths, engineering or science and get a well-paid job that way then you're going to need to be good at it lol.
