    Hi, call me Yoruichi or Yoru for short. if you want. I made this hack for my own reasons only. I like how the way I edit things make my own world. I realize I can't edit my own life. So, why don't I try it in games. That's not the only Reason.
    I got into hacking Pokemon Roms because of Destinedjagold together with his wonderful game I played.

    STORYLINE

    The Main Player, you, dreamed about the future. Deep inside a cave, with the cry of the
    white dragon "Reshiram". Together with the person running in fear, and that would be your
    rival named "Hope". You woke up, without your Dad home. 2 years ago, he promised you
    that he'll give you a Pokemon once you're 13, now you are. A Pokemon in the table had
    been left by your Father. Prof.Birch received a email from the rangers that a great fire
    burned the Giant woods, giving the whole region a Red warning about the Pokemon
    burning wherever it set its foot on. Furthermore, that's why your father gave you a
    Pokemon, to keep you safe is his high priority even though his not there to protect you.

    It's a long time since i have seen a new ruby hack and this one looks promising ! The story seems to be good , i really like it. As for the screenies , they look good too and i am happy that you used ruby tiles ( though the trees are different too bad that the tiles are subject to change ) I hope that it will turn out as you expect. Good luck.
    P.S. is the name Cid a reference to Final Fantasy ? ( just asking :P ).
     
    If you want, I can probably help you with some mapping. I mean, if you cared for that sort of thing--I know how people who make hacks enjoy to do their own maps.
    However, I'm fairly decent with working with descriptions.

    Update about your titlescreen:

    I've experienced some technical difficulties. I thought I would do this really quick and easy by the end of today, however, I've come across quite a few problems. For one, this is my first time titlescreen hacking a Ruby game. And that just blows. Although, I need to start somewhere.

    That's not the problem for me. Rather, things are going as smoothly as usual.

    However, it's nothing huge. And I should have it ready within a few more days.

    Tile insertion, I can direct you to people who do know. Start with Full Metal. Ask him.
     
    This looks like quite a promising hack :D, I was wondering if you needed any help (be it spriting or beta testing) I'm always available. I can see you like working alone but I can always help.

    Looks like you're well on your way. I love hacks that utilize the one starter Pokemon. Though you don't really get a choice, everyone experiences the same fair beginning.
     
    Progress is going on shortly due to some problems in the title screen.
    Anyhow, I've added the userbar by Joey.

    This looks amazing, however Ruby's choice of font has always been very ugly.
     
    Hy there, this hack looks great so im willing to help. I'm not a hacker but I've beta tested some hacks so if you need a beta tester im here to help,i'll report you bugs and all that (got lots of spare time) :)
