Hello, I'm Danny0317, previously known as Dark Sneasel or Ninja Surskit (wtf was 13 year old me thinking?). I've been hacking for nearly 3 years, and I've had a few hacks every now and then, but I never finished any. I'm finally ready to settle down and dedicate myself to one hack; my first one. This hack is a re-make of Fluorite, this time taking key elements and aspects of all of my hacks and adding it to this one to make it better. Unlike the first version of Fluorite, this time it will have much more planning and a more balanced level curve. I've taken a lot of inspiration from Pokémon Emerald, which is my favorite series game, and that can be reflected in the story.

Story below:

The story of Pokémon Fluorite takes place approximately four years after Pokémon Emerald. Team Aqua and Team Magma no longer exist... in Hoenn.

All throughout the Hoenn region, rumors about Team Aqua and Magma spread. However, no one believes them, since they're just rumors.

The story starts showing Team Aqua, amidst a thunderstorm, announcing their plans for the region. Shortly after, a very similar scene occurs, in another town, showing Team Magma, with similar intentions, but actually using Groudon.

Two years before that, a scene is shown, of a player, a then 13 year old, receiving his/her first Pokémon, an abandoned Aipom, from a daycare. Fast-forward a year after, the player is now living peacefully in his/her hometown of Tentrem Town. His/her mom asks him/her to pick up some groceries at the Pokémart of Angel City, 2 routes, 1 town, and one forest away. Having an Aipom should make that task very easy. However, along the way, the player not only stops a robbery, but also encounters a weird man that gives him/her a Pokédex, and meets up with a strange organization that calls themselves "Team Magma." Once the player returns home to give his/her mom the groceries, a group of teenage kids enter the house and asks him/her if he/she wants to join an organization called the "Regma Rangers", whose goal is to stop Team Aqua and Team Magma, due to them being a threat to the region. After some convincing, the player accepts.

Through the player's quest of becoming a Pokémon Master and defeating every gym in the diverse Regma Region, he/she also has to carry out missions against Team Aqua and Team Magma, and ends up teleporting, getting arrested, and even sent to another region.

Since these events take place throughout the year prior to the Team Aqua and Team Magma scenes that first started the game, how will it eventually get to that point? How will Team Magma get Groudon, Team Aqua Kyogre, what will come out of it, and how will the player stop it from happening?


Tl;dr Team Aqua and Team Magma are terrorizing the Regma Region and the player tries to stop them by joining an organization while also collecting all the bages in the region.

Looks great! Just hope you can do a good job on that level curve too.

I'm insanely happy that you've finally gone back to your first hack and give it a reboot. Out of the hacks you made that I was forced to beta-test and comment on everything xD played, Fluorite is still my favorite one. I'm also happy that you've taken ideas off of your other hacks and have added them here as well.

Also, I'm gonna pretty much copy Bela by saying that you should just stick and focus on this hack right now. You don't need to make four different hacks with a whole bunch of different ideas but with the same mindset, Danny. Of course, I'll still be helping you, but like I've said with every other hack I have hopes for, I can't wait for more progress!

Hey hey hey, what about me? I'm still alive, just to let you know, and we (Danny and I) are going to rock this hack together again. So far I'm helping Danny till January 20th, and from then up to February 6th, I'm busy with my exams, which means learning until I collapse. And even on the days before the 20th I'll be busy with learning, but I'll still try to help him. :)

Sure, that'd be great! Hmm, I'm not sure. The first beta won't be too long, at most 2 gyms, but it'll definitely be more than one hour, hopefully two.

Sorta-ish. I've been really busy with schoolwork and things of the sort (projects, auditions, etc), but I've been working on this, albeit slowly. I can't say when I'll release, but there'll definitely be a beta in the near future. Maybe 2 months? Probably less.

Hey guys, I've come back with an update. It's been a while, but yeah, I'm still working on this hack. I was focusing on making some ROM hacking tools, which explains why I haven't updated anything, but here it is!

As you guys can see, I've updated the Pokémon sprites. Huge thanks to Chaos Rush and MrDollSteak for their resources.



I'm sorry, I had to.

I've been working on some other stuff as well, such as Amity Forest, which will be getting a strange twist this time around...
