Mega Moemon Firered

This is the most advance moemon Rom. It is specially curated to showcase the highest quality moemon sprites that exist while posing some gameplay challenges. There are many changed aspects include full gameplay changes such as Fairy typing, double encounters, and MEGA EVOLUTION. It currently includes over400 moemon from 7 generations with curated encounters and battles.
There is no story change, but gameplay has been heavily adjusted to present a challenge.
The current version allows the mega-evolution of Latias, Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur. Megastones and the Mega-Bracelet can be bought in Cerulean City's Pokemart. National Dex is in Pewter City Pokemon Center. Sun stones and Moons stones are bought there as well for impossible evolutions.
Yes, it is bugged due to the baserom I used. It very is playable though.
Bugs:
1) Old Rod has been made inaccessible due to a major glitch it caused.
2) Mega evolution does not work for double battles
3) Sorting by nation dex causes crash
4) Flash as a field move is invisible in the Pokemon menu.
5) False Swipe and Brick Break Have been replaced.
6) Minor pokedex glitch for post-heonn moemon captures.

Fix bugs OR rebuild hack with vital features intact. I want to keep Mega evolution, double battles, Fairy Type. The next major feature goal is increased shiny rates.

This particular hack is for the single player Kanto adventure. There are moves from other generations.

That's the first bug listed. I hope to cure it, but I'm not very versatile with hacking. That's part of the reason I came back here.Also, shinoh baby pokemon can be hatched, unexpectedly. Are those the couple of sprites?

There's going to be an update soon(the 18th). We have Latios, Leafeon, and Poliswine as excellent additions. We're looking into creating Megas for Blazekin and Gardevior, but I can't promise that those will be ready.
In the Discord, we have a bunch of patches for existing hacks to be moefied, but they are untested. Filligin, Liquid Crystal, Crystal Duck, and Light Platinums IPSes exist. They have to be patched over the already patched hacks.

We don't have the sprites for the gen 4 evolutions. Most existing Sinnoh moemon would be a downgrade in quality.

how do you evolve haunter, kadabra, and the rest of the trade evolutions cause i tried trading my kadabra and it did not evolve after the trade
A new version will come out soon. It's will basically be much more functional then, but save games won't transfer to the new version.

There seems to be a problem with the new patch, I started a new game, and it black screens before Oak appears in the intro.

Loving this new patch, it works with my favorite 386 hack so I love it even more. I haven't reached the first gym yet, but most of the sprites are great and I love what you did with the pokedex. I have to say, the Togepi sprite feels a little bit off, for the left looking sprite the red in one eyes looks to be bleeding out a bit, but the eye looks fine when it's facing right.

It's probably not good for patching over hacks as the pokedex text has been changed. hopefully, it's a very simple 386 hack.Edit: looks like togepi is supposed to look like that I guess.
