Hey guys I have some 1996 Japanese Pocket Monster cards and were wondering what their worth would be. I wouldn't go as far to say they are MINT but they are in VERY good condition. Any feedback would be appreciated :)

Welcome to the Pokecommunity HaleiRisbon! Great looking cards you have there, but a question like this should be posted in the Trading Card Game section of the forums. Meet & Greet should be more for personal introductions where you tell us about yourself.

Either you go post there or a mod will transfer this whole thread accordingly. Have a good one!

welcome to the community! it seems that roni has pointed you to the right section and i see you already posted there as well. why not introduce yourself to us? how long have you been collecting cards?

I used to collect them when I was younger due to a friends interest in them. I never really had a devoted interest in them, I was just made aware some Pocket Monster cards have value and if so I'd like to sell them to someone who would actually have a place for them and keep them in as good a condition they are currently in.

Ah, so it was second hand interest then. That's still pretty neat!

And yes, from all the Pokemon card pulling Youtubers to the Ebay listings I've seen, rare cards hold some pretty gnarly value. If you got legit mint condition Charizard holos from the original set, you're golden. It's just that it may be tough to weed out scammers from genuine collectors, so it's a dangerous road to take if you don't wanna get scammed. I'm lucky in that I never really got to experience any of this first-hand, since all my old Pokemon cards were guaranteed fake anyway lmaoo

Anyhow, I do hope you find the answers you're looking for, and have a good day :)
