Today, this very anticipated sequel title is finally releasing! Reviews are already out and pretty much all of them say the game is great...

... except for horrendous performance. The listed minimum requirement PCs can't run it, great super builds can't run it well, and even the console versions have performance issues. Dissappointed fans be raging.

    - Have you or are you planning on getting it, and on what platform?

    - How do you like it so far? (and how was the performance for your system? 😑)

I'll get it at some point in the future when it's performance issues are all worked out. I'm sure it's a great game, but I already have lots of other stuff I want to play that is going to actually function so I'm not going to spend on an expensive game that doesn't even work right yet.

Honestly, this sort of thing has got to stop. Developers need to stop rushing games through to meet unrealistic release windows. It's bad for business, it's bad for their employees and it's no fun for the consumer either. It's not good for anyone so stop fucking doing it already. Did nobody learn anything from the backlash to Cyberpunk?

you said everything I could have wanted to say, tbh, both paragraphs. money and marketing, I suppose.

I definitely do want to play it, it seems like performance aside, it is a great game that expands upon and deepens the world and characters from the first game. I love such sequels.

I only got to the first game at the start of this year and loved it. But I can certainly wait a year or more to play a sequel.

It's always nice to see a good AAA singleplayer game getting released and it sucks that it had performance issues on PC. It seems like most AAA games released this year (well, not just this year) had performance issues.
