Regardless, cats are cleaner and usually easier to manage since they have a litter box.
And if you talk about cats as a whole, you are including the ever awesome lion, puma, cheetah, and cougar.

170987. My cats still have issues using their litter boxes, and they're 11. They sometimes freak out about using theirs because one or both of them has usually dropped a big dukie that takes up half the box by noon. So I have to disagree from personal experience. My dog is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier to clean up after because she's in the habit of going outside. D;
