It didn't hurt, I was given shots in the gums with some numbing medicine. So I heard some noises, but nothing bad.

Meh, in school.. they don't give us numbing medicine.. so it always hurts.. >.<

Do you mean something like novacaine? *Cringes* Okay, so maybe I'm being stupid and mistaking that post for something else, but whatever. I had to get novacaine once in my gums, and I remember not feeling any pain. Except when I got home, my mother told me to eat something soft, because the numbing effect wasn't gone. So I tried eating a cookie, and it felt really akward. And then when I tried drinking milk with it, it began to dribble out of my mouth o.O;;;

For some reason, pain medication never worked for me ><;;

The dentists was in another town, so by the time I got home, the novacaine was already worn off. :\

Novocaine does that to you. I should know; I had two of my teeth pulled when I was in middle school, and they had to give me novocaine. My cheeks felt puffy for several hours.

No fair.. I wasn't ever given anything of that sort when the dentist pulled out meh tooth.. They just pull it straight..

The two I had pulled was on the same side. My left cheek is still puffy kind of.
