Bubba I think ur sigs a bit too big and it will probably get disabled.....
 
Why do you think umbreon has yellow rings?

Probably to absorb energy from the moon, and maybe they can blink thier glows to communicate or something? I dunno...

And, guys... the moon is WHITE.

to confuse the enemy. so if it is running the yellow ring could confuse the foe, like zebra.

For a few reasons, as a possible form of communication, as a fear tactic. Seeing glowing rings and no body (due to umbreon's black fur) in the dark may scare some beings, because it seems unnatural. It could also be used as a avoidance tactic in battle, if the rings can emit a bright burst of light, which would temporary blind most night-time creatures. It may be like a fingerprint in a way, maybe no two unmbreon's rings glow the same way... Yellow light funnily enough is the same colour our sun is...Maybe theres a link there...

Like said a couple of times above ^^ to do with the moon and its power, as Umby is a night type Pokemon~
 
Remember, the light of the moon originally comes from the sun.

Not really...if anything it has a silver glow, and on the full moon it's sometimes orange... But I've never seen a yellow moon. Do you live in a diffrent part of the world or something?
But that's not waht this topic is about... Anyway I think Umbreon might use their rings the way fireflies do, for courtship or communication or something. x3

um scratch my preveios answer just wanted to say that the game desiners made it that way for a reason and nut just to make it look cool I think it is a combo of matts, F.L.Y.'s second one, and all of Soulflame Ninetails theroys.

Hehe, so the power in this case is the Sun's... unless in the Pokemon world, the moon gives off its own light.

Doesnt it look red? I dont know because I always use FF and its always been red to me... *confusion?*

That's what it looks like to me as well.

That's strange... I mean, the banners only look red when I use IE 6 O_o
