Sadly, no...the largest sugar sculpture I've made is only 6 inches high. And why would you want to interact with people when you can interact with sugar cubes? ;D

This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Marge got famous by making popsicle stick sculptures. XD

Are you serious? I can't tell if you're joking or not anymore. XD

I don't remember that one. Though, I was watching the episode earlier where Homer gets famous for his "artwork" made from a messed up barbeque, then he floods the entire city. Homer is awesome, I would've loved having Homer as my dad. XD

I don't watch/read/whatever the news because of all of that. What Dawson said about not caring who is doing what or has checked into * Anonymous is true for me. They're just people. o_o; And most of the time, stupid people at that.

Politics really bother me too, though. They're not about getting what's best done for us anymore, they're all about over-dramatic warring over every little thing, tearing into each other, and broad overgeneralizations. Hate hate hate politics. Like, when my family eats together, I will get up and leave the table if they don't turn off the news. :\ I can watch it and see only misconceptions and idiotic representation of any and all groups. So yeah. Hate it.

I do like tech news though, but I think Dawson would be mean to me if I started on that. :<

A large amount of political news in England is scandal. With politicians being caught having affairs, doing drugs, visiting hookers, racist backgrounds and so on and so forth.

I really dislike our goverment, Tony Blair was instated as the Prime Minister with all of these goals that he'd achieve by the end of his tenure. His tenure is nearly up now, and the stats on things such as education, crime and medical issues are worse than they were before he was Prime Minister.

..Me be mean to you? When am I ever mean to you? You wanna talk about the inner workings of computers, go for it. I'm not entirely clueless about technology, you know. XD And when the topic does move to something I know much about, well, I'll go do something to keep myself occupied until you're done. Like counting my toes.

I'm totally joking, Dawson. I don't come off as that much of a loser, do I? XD

Heh, I remember that episode. I have a good many of the seasons on DVD, so I don't believe there are many episodes I've missed. Homer would be a cool dad, yeah. With the exception of him being an alcoholic. =X

It's probably not the best idea to disregard the news simply because you don't agree with the things going on politically. You should still remain up to date and educated on the things going on in the world...as screwed up as it is.

It's not so much what's going on that's the problem, though. It's these horrible slants and idiots that they have on the news that makes it so horrible. Like...it's not about what's going on, it's about two old fat guys yelling at each other about every little thing. oo; How it's pretty much a civil war, and you have to be on one side or the other, and wish that everyone who doesn't agree with you was dead. That's how I see American politics.

Well, he'd be an improvement on my dad..XD Homer would just be awesome because of the pearls of wisdom he dishes out at times. "Lisa, if you don't like your job you don't strike. You just go in every day and do it really half-assed. That's the American way." being one of my all time favourites.

I hate watching political debates in the House of Commons, where two opposing politicians from different parties argue their points and try to work in "cheap shots" to appeal to the crowd. It literally is like watching to nerdy school kids insulting each other in the playground, and the insults mean nothing to everyone else, only the other nerdy kids. And it just comes across so pompous. Gah.

At least Fathers 4 Justice makes them more eventful at times.

Nonsense. If you aren't Republican or Democratic, you can be Undecided. Course, you'll never get into office being Undecided. Just ask Ralph Nader. =X

Hahaha. Nothing like a good Homer Simpson quote. XD

Yeah, but there are better ways for people to express their views, regardless of what they are. Personally, I believe in stating opinions and views firmly and bluntly, but still showing respect for the other side of the argument. You then work your way into expanding your views with facts and counter arguments against the other side, trying to sway those sitting on the fence and win round those on the other side with constructive and well balanced arguments.

Two old geezers yelling and making "jokes" about the other sides' mistakes and such isn't the way to go. It's just pathetic at times.

..I think bikini clad cheerleaders would struggle to make chess exciting, to be honest. XD

Yeah, that would be the mature, responsible, and respectable way to do things. Oh, wait...does that mean the people in charge aren't mature, responsible, and respectable? Aw, crap...it does. =X

Indeed. The only way chess could be slightly amusing is if bikini clad cheerleaders were playing a variant of strip poker; strip chess. XD

British Politics are just as stupid, only older and...well...funnier to mock XD

The best thing ever was David Cameron (Important politician) admitted to being a cannibas addict, his direct reply to the media was "Chill out, it's only a spliff"
Funnily enough, the next PM is supposed to eliminate Britain's drug problem =/

heh, I can't get into political arguements, becasue in the end, I'll end up going at someones throat...Yeah, I'm that opinionated, ansd it's not such a great quality.

But here in MA, we have that whole thing with Devall Patrick going on now...

As fun as they are to mock, these guys run our country. And I don't know about you, but I want our leaders to have a bit more than dust between the ears. We need a real Prime Minister for once, we need a real leader. Someone who does for the good of the nation first and foremost. It's all well and good dedicating all of that time and effort to helping the US in Iraq and whatnot (even if I did hugely disagree with it) but England has been in decline for years and that's where the money and the focus should be going. Street crime is sky high nowadays, that's where the first focus should be. People should be able to feel safe walking down the street by themselves.

I gotta admit though, Cameron's "just chill out" reply was pretty awesome..XD

Is there a country where you can work around even at night without any fear? :\ I heard Japan was kind of like this, but then again there's the Yankuza, and do they really do those street-racings (or 'driftings') in Japan?

I think the UN should rule the US rather than George W. Bush! :P Or perhaps people like Oprah should go int politics...

Heh. That's brilliant.

Umm...why would the United Nations...a group of leaders from various different nationalities...rule a country that isn't their own? And Oprah for god sakes?! America would be up to its eyeballs in debt if she ever got into office. She'd just start giving away all kinds of money and stuff to ordinary people. Not to mention she has no experience in politics whatsoever. Those are two of the worst ideas I've heard in a long time. =X

What happened to people like Maggie and Churchill? Granted they weren't the best thing to happen to our country, but they done a bloody good job compared to todays idiots =/ Winston was a man who knew how to lead a war, and I doubt he'd of whole heartedly agree with George bush's nazi like regeim over Iraq. Britain's top brass need to realise that there's already a war on in their own country, a war that the good people of Britain are losing to hordes of illegal immigrants poisoning are children with drugs, with yobs mugging innocents and kicking people in for no reason, and racism on a high.

Ok, comparing George Bush's regime to the Nazi regime is a little over the top. Granted, the Bush administration started the Iraq war for unjust reasons, but Saddam's regime still needed to be overthrown. If you're going to compare anyone to the Nazis, it should be Saddam and his government. They were the ones killing innocent people by the thousands. =\

I wouldn't say that Bush is the entire problem; yes he is at the top of the system and yes he has made mistakes, but in the end its the whole party who influence the country, not just Bush. Also, how can you hate someone you barely know?
I'm not a fan of Bush, but to say you hate him is a little over the top.

I wouldn't know bush from a clown. Seriously, he is alawt like JH to me..and I don't like him. So I don't care for any presidents/primeys. The queen has more importance I think.
