Wow, Curious, you sure have kept this place active!
Well I was thinking about adding the "adopt a bug partner" thing, but I wasn't sure...
We might aswell keep it, but we should cut it down to one partner per member, and all members can choose whichever partner the want to!
Also, I'll add little pics, and icons of Bug Pokemon, so anyone who wants to, can add thier partner on their sig!
Well I can see that Curious has already taken care of that!

Now on the Contest we'll have on our little thread...
We'll have ourselves a draw-off contest. The contest will start two days from now and it will last two days, and the winner's drawing will be put either on the first, or the co-owner's post! The theme will be to draw a Bug Pokemon, using a Bug Type move...
You will be able to use anything for drawing, either computer program, or just a pencil and a piece of paper. You'll upload your drawing here, on this thread, and when the contest ends all of us are going to vote for the best drawing!
So sharpen your pencils, and think about what you will draw..., and in two days, we are going to start the contest! :D

Does that include fakemon? Because I finished my 'assassin wasp's design.
 
Nope. Only certified Pokemon(non gen V) that are using a Bug type move.
Also you shouldn't start right away, but after two days. Everyone else will...

Yeah, some Bug Pokemon don't learn any Bug attack. Does that mean you just can't use Pokemon like Burmy, Weedle and Silcoon?
 
Burmy can't, but Weedle and Silcoon can use String Shot!
 
Oh wait, I checked. They all learn Bug Bite. Nevermind.
Not that I was planning to make any of those.

Yep, it is a bit early, after all there's only three pages to this thread, but I know tkallab, and I know that he will continue to be as active as he was till now. :)
 
Well, I don't know, I'm kind of having a Pokemon period these days. Don't know how long it's gonna last, but it's definitely not over yet!
But as long as I have the 'I want to see my name as the last poster on all my subscribed thread'-syndrom, I'll stay active, haha!

And today, I was wondering, what do you think of Vibrava? Isn't he an insect? And how about Trapinch? I mean, they are based on antlions. We have already concluded that Flygon is definitely a dragon, but in my opinion, Trapinch and Vibrava are insects.
 
Agreed but those Pokemon will be voted on along with the crabs.

Now a new topic for ya all:
If you lived in Pokemon world, but there are no Pokeballs (or Appricorns), what would you do to catch and train your Pokemon?
 
Bug pokemon, you probably mean.

My three scenarios:
1. There is no such thing as the Pokeball; they have not been invented.
I would keep a Caterpie or something as a pet, building trust so it won't fly away as soon as it Becomes a Butterfree. When I believe the time is right, I would train it and it would be my Pokebuddy.

2. Pokeballs are not obtainable where I live.
After building trust with my Pokemon, I suggest we become an official team, and we could travel for days to get to a Mart or, if absolutely necessary, all the way to Azalea Town to have the famous Kurt make me a Pokeball. Then, I would challenge my Pokemon to a mock fight and after that, I would catch it. It wouldn't try to break out, as it trusts and loves me.
3. I don't have enough money for a Pokeball.
I would battle one trainer with my Pokemon friend or just wait for my allowance.

I almost cried while writing that... No I didn't.
 
The first one I accept, but the last two I don't. You didn't seem to understand. pokeballs do not exist... at all, so you can't wait for your allowance, or go to Kurt.

Also, could someone make a couple of nice banners for us...? Pretty please...
 
Yeah, I did those two because you were a bit vague.
You've seen the Monkey Club Banners, right? If you like what you saw, the banners are finished in two days.
 
Yeah, it's great! If you could make some of those that would be great!
Also If you could make one for me(that say owner of the Bug Fan Club) and one for Curious(Co-owner ...) and PM us those Banners... Now that would be really great!
