Good point tkallab, maybe.... those pictures are wrong, maybe what scizor is really doing there is flapping his wings to get his temperature up
 
Scizor is flying, wether you want to believe it or not!
 
No, it's not...
It has wings, the Pokemon it evolved from can clearly fly, not to mention all the flying type moves it can learn. Scizor can fly, deal with it!
 
Yeah, the games, anime and manga are separate canons. So while Scizor can fly in the anime, he can't fly in the games. Deal with that.
 
Who says it can't fly in the games?!
How on earth is it supposed to use Aerial ace, Acrobat,... for which it has to fly to acctually strike their target.
Not to mention that Scizor is obviously flying in the manga!
 
When canons contradict each other, I always go with the games. They were created before the series and the manga.
And Scizor learns Aerial Ace through tm, yes. Just like Diglett.
I rest my case.

Also, even in the anime there are Pokémon who don't fly to use Aerial Ace, like Quilava, Gabite and Leafeon.
 
Yes, looks like you don't need to fly to buy.
anyway, here's a new topic for ya, What type combo do you think is best (including bug in it)
I think a Bug/Fire like Uragasamoth is usefull to have.
 
Bug/dragon, cause Dragon eliminates all weaknesses exept Rock. Plus it's epic! XD

Just had to do it, Minimal flight the first airplane had "minimal flight capabilities" but we still say it flied.


I want another bug/water as all we have is surskit i just want one with more bang.

Edit: Oh and when I said again I was referring to this very discussion that took place in Makbets flying type fc.

Oh, and why am I wrong?

As for Bug type combinations, the only ones we haven't seen yet are Normal, Ice, Ground, Psychic, Dark and Dragon. I definitely want a Dragon/Ice Pokémon someday. Then it could defend itself against Flying types. Psychic- and Dark/Bug could also be cool, considering they're designed well.
 
Pure logic tells you that Scizor can fly!

How is Dragon Ice a bug type combo? You probably meant Bug/Ice, but then Fire would be a b****!
And i agree with Gear. We definitly need a strong Bug/Water Pokemon!
 
Pure Pokédex tell you that he doesn't fly! And proof is always better that logic. Except with Oddish' 'scientific' name, Oddus Wanderus.

And of course I meant Bug/Ice, haha. And yes, it will get owned by fire, but doesn't everything get owned by something? Except for Sableye with Wonder Guard, of course.

And sure, a Pokedex 10 years old says it can't fly. I never saw that sentence in HG SS Pokedex!
 
I own a Soulsilver game, i'm almost done, missing one badge, i have a Scyther who i haven't been able to Evolve yet, but when it does i can post screenshots from my game.
 
Is there a bug/electric yet? Because that could be useful in a number of situations
