I don't really see any reason for bugs to be weak to electricity, unless they also fly, I guess. Their biggest obvious weakness to me is flying types. Fire makes sense too, but everything pretty much suffers the same result when exposed to fire... except water of course haha.

ever tried to burn a rock to death (Spoiler alert: it doesn't work) I too would understand an electric weakness due to "Bug Zappers"

In my pokemon soulsilver I had a dumb beedrill. I trained it from level 2 to 26 then dumped it for Electrode XD. It was pretty strong at the time but evolved too eaarly, level 16! It sits in my PC box getting wrinkles.... Lol

The first few bugs are pretty weak in relation to those you get later in the game. E.G Butterfree Vs. Venomoth

Okay, rocks being one of the few things that don't suffer the same consequences. The point still stands that fire burns most things, lol.

Butterfree and Beedrill are nice 'till about the 20's. Around then I always would dump them as well. :c It's a shame.

Okay, I had my fun now. I'll review some of the new Bug Pokémon.

I would probably like this design better if there wasn't a freaking leaf around his head. But that would probably rob him of his Grass typing. I also don't like those beady eyes. But he's pretty cool overall.

This game's new Metapod. I'd love him if he didn't have that emo expression. Metapod just looks sad, but this dude is definitely a professional pessimist! And he can move around a little without the leaves moving, so I guess they're not really attached to his body. Just like a Burmy.

A humanoid bug, that's new. The closest we had was... Nothing really. So a humanoid bug. Maybe a royalty or a dancer with an awesome collar. But what I hate is that he's smiling. You can't really see it here, but you can in the Dream World art. Yes, some Pokémon smile, but not Bug Pokémon! If he'd wipe that dumb smile off his face, I'd like this guy. I'd love him.

I like this guy I don't know why, I just do he reminds me of a bad ass medapod.

I love the typing of this one but am not sold 100% on its design, I can see they were going for Tarantula,but something about just isn't doing for it for me.

Awesome design. I love its expression, teh poisonous colors and everything else.

Looks a bit too powerful for a second stage Bug, but I guess this whole evolutionary line is stronger than the usual first and second Bug lines. Love this one too.

Awesomegasm! I really wonder why this wasn't in my team! Looks so powerful, it could block the sun! But then it gets too cold, so it makes another sun. Double sun power!

Well, here's my Reveiws:

I've already discussed this one before, abomination to the name bug, just look at him, half a car for a face a giant cannon and a humanoid shape, even if he is a bug i do NOT like him! i would atleast remove his carface!

OMG! It's a freakin raindrop of horror! how's that a bug? it
has FANGS and EVIILLL EEEYYYEEEESSS, i would turn his evil eyes into beady ones and get those gangs off, i would also take away that raindroppy feeling and replace it with....i dunno, his yellow underbelly is good to be a bug's but it needs to be put on something more buggy, if i knew what bug i should re-base him on i would know what to say.

Now, this guy is in no way a bug, but he's AWSUM in my eyes! i got him on mah trainer card! he's got that evil look in his eyes, and he's got lances FOH ARMS! hell yeah! just like an authentic EVIL knight, he has the same eyes as his pre-evo, and he's obviously a knight, i LUV HIM! but there is no way that he and his pre-evo are bugs. mind you when i look at him, it looks like there could be a slug inside of that armor...maaaybe.

aaaah Fushide, a true blue caterpillar...in shape, he looks like a caterpillar, but wassup with the dull expresion in his eyes? it's like his bored, i'm not saying that gamefreak shoulda made his eyes beady, that would be...eeeeeewwwww, but maybe less dull, i think he might be based on a centipede, acctually, great coloration in there, but just TOO DULL! COME ON GAMEFREAK, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT! (although i have to admit it's not all bad)

Now this, my friends, is BADASS METAPOD IN ACTION!!! you can see the antaneas wich make him a bug although i do not get the round tatoos, probably just decoration, when i get pendra i'm gonna make a baby fushide with it and evolve it to this and give it an everstone!!
just one thing, theres a sign of action in his eyes but half of it is also filled with DULNESS! enough with that already!

AW-SUUUUUUUUUUUMNESSS!!! BLACK UNDERBELLY WITH RED COLORATION AND ANGRY EYES!!! CENTIPEDE-AWSONMENESS check out those antaneas, i'm just confused by one thing....four legs? why four legs? it's a centipede, right? NVM, ITS STILL AWSOME!!!

I know it's embarrasing but i'm captured by this young fellow, we've discussed it before and crabs are NOT bug! when will gamefreak understand that! but....he's sooo cuuute the only thing i don't get about him is that he's bug, otherwise he's gotta be on my top cute list.

This was also next on my review list. First of all, this is definitely a hermit crab. But in some ways, it's also an insect. The claws are just like Paras', and the shell changes nothing. Of course, it's just a hermit crab feature, and it's a nice one. If only this guy had, like, compound eyes, or just not those eyes on sticks, he would be considered a Bug. And frankly, I don't really like him, despite standing up for him. He looks to frail for a guy with a shell.

Sweet mother of jesus! thats not a bug, thats a rock lifter, but the rock it's carrying seems to be lots of different layers of rock wich could slide down upon you. LOL.
