I agree with you, i've never seen them as bug, why?! is there a type of pinecone bug in real life?! even "On the origin of species" hasn't figured them out yet!
And what is Forretress anway?! talk about Pineco, but why have a pinecone evolve into....whatever that is.... hm, have we taken them off the list yet? cuz we have to!

As for Shuckle....acctually i think i will choose to hide my opinion on that for a while longer because i am curious as to your opinions. (devilsmiley)

Bagworm? pfff that's a pinecone, even it's name says so....sometimes i don't understand Gamefreak's methods....
 
Well, I think Forretress is some kind of chesnut. Excuse me, a bagworm living inside a chesnut. How could I get that wrong? XD
 
I think a bagworm is some kind of parasitic insect... And according to Bulbapedia it's living inside Pineco and Forretress..? Hello Nintendo, there are eyes on the core! Which is not an insect!

But I'm pretty confident Forretress is a chestnut.

Hm, but if it was meant to be a bagworm they should've made it obvious, and the chestnut with eyes....SERIOUSLY? if they wanted a bagworm they did a hell of a rubbish job! i vote pinecone and chestnut OUT!

I have no idea how they got a bagworm from pineco. They did how ever try bagworm againthis time they di much better.

So they really do live in bags like that... Wow. That's pretty cool.
In a way, it makes sense that Pineco is supposed to be a bagworm. The pine tree is one of their hosts, and they're usually mistaken for pinecones.
But Pineco's still just a pinecone. Not a bagworm.

Yes, it's a pinecone and that's that, it dosen't look like much of a bagworm.

Read the D/P/Pt & HG Pokedex entries it clarifies that Pineco use tree bark in a simular fashion as burmy. Forretress I just have no clue.

Yeah...that's great that you're proving all this but this isn't a disscussion about burmy, it's about the pinecone and the chestnut, pinecone to chestnut sorta makes sense, but they should NOT be bugs.

No, i acctually think that a lot of people would vote them in, since they go waaay old...
I'm gonna research more about the subject, and then make a decision.

How does way old have anything to do with anything?! tkallab and me are already voting them out! their status as bugs have been forgotten and therefore sustained, but now! we have noticed their treachery, and now it is THEIR turn to walk the plank.
 
Well, if you have an article, people can see all arguments from both sides... So I say let Draggy do his research. Want me to help you?
 
I never said that he shouldn't do his research, i, for one, would love to see the other side of the argument, that's the fun in it.
 
Well, another side is that Pineco is supposedly a bagworm that disguises itself with pieces of bark to look like a pinecone. I, however, find this very unlikely, because it's impossible to make the bark stick to its body like that, especially without arms. Also, if it's true, what's Forretress supposed to be?
