Welcome to the Cobra Starship fanclub~ Here is the place where you can talk about the band, Cobra Starship!

Who is Cobra Starship?
Cobra Starship is a five-piece alternative rock band fronted by 28-year-old Gabe Saporta. Their record label is Fueled By Ramen, who is also the same label with bands such as Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is..., Gym Class Heroes, and Paramore. Also in the band are: Ryland Blackinton, who plays the guitar, Alex Suarez, who plays bass, Nate Novarro, the band's dummer, and Victoria Asher, who replaced Elisa Schwartz, and plays the keytar. The keytar is a unique aspect to Cobra Starship. It was popular back in the 1980s. It is like a synthesizer, however, it is portable and looks more like a guitar.

You may know the band for its smash hit, Bring It (Snakes on a Plane), from the 2006 thriller, Snakes on a Plane.

Cobra Starship currently has two albums out, While the City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets (2006), and Viva La Cobra! (2007). If you haven't listened to the albums, please do. :D

Cobra Starship has recently released their second single off of Viva La Cobra!, entitled The City is at War. The official video can be viewed here.

It's a fantastic song. The synths sound amazing in that song, I must say. :D

Anyways, I'm joining..I still think Cobra Starship kinda sucks, but after listening to Cannibal Corpse for about 14 minutes last night(Specifically the songs "I *** blood," and "Hammer Smashed Face"), I realized that..they're better than some other crap out there >_>
