So do you have plans to play past Platinum sometime? The Pokemon games continue to get better and better so you're sure to enjoy it regardless of the game! A lot of people loved X and Y especially and that brought tons of fans back to the franchise so that's my personal recommendation. Though I also loved Black/White 2.. well, play through everything is what I'd say, ahaha.
If you make graphics you should make a gallery in the Art & Design board sometime. It's a great little section with a lot to do so you'll definitely find a home there. Be sure to read the rules of the section first though, of course, to ensure you understand how things work. Have an awesome time and see you around! :D

That's nice to hear you plan on wanting to play X and Y soon. It's definitely worth getting a 3DS for since there's loads of awesome games you can get for it. The 6th Generation surely has been getting loads of old Pokemon players back into the games after mainly being disappointed with Black and White (I actually enjoyed 5th Gen myself). Seeing all those 3D graphics shows how far Pokemon has evolved as a franchise, and we hope it can continue from there.
Sheep also recommended Art & Design, which is definitely the best place to share your graphic work. Graphic art sure is pretty cool given the works I've seen from certain members here so far, so yeah can't wait to see yours sometime when you make a gallery for it. There's so much you can do here, I'm sure you can stick around as an active member and make new friends as well.
