Silver FOREVER

1. Totodile and its evolution family are my favorite Pokemon.
2. I think the Legendaries are better.
3. The story is better.
4. The new Pokemon are great.
5. Some old Pokemon return.
6. The region has daytime and nighttime .
7. You can re-battle trainers.
8. You can re-battle them because they'll call you for a rematch on your nifty, new, watch thingy.
9. Kanto is just a little bit to the East and it includes the original leaders, Team Rocket, and new quests. Seriously, its like playing a semi-cut-down Red Version.
10. You get to see where Ash(Red)ended up, and even loose to him a few times(I never beat him on the first try, lol).

I tried putting them in order from greatest to least; 1 to 10, but I couldn't order them right. So these are just ten great reasons, lol.

9.) the nostalgia you feel when you get to kanto... "three years ago..." and stuff like that. and the fact that you battled yourself in the end (red).

Oh man, I forgot to include that one in my list. The nostalgia was a big one for me.

8) Realizing I had a HUGE amount of savings from my mommeh.
9) Exploring two regions.
10) "..."

1: There's something about the old style music that brings nostalgia.
2: It's my only game where I personally found a real, legitimate shiny. That 1 in 8000-something chance.
3: Quilava, one of my 5 favorite Pokemon is available.
4: Mew was the cutest in the 2nd gen.
5: Thanks to glitches in the 1st and 2nd gen, Mew and Celebi are obtainable without cheating.
6: Your rival is the exact opposite of a wimp.
7: Your room is the most decoratable of all generations.
8: It's the last generation where they actually TRIED to make a good Pokemon game.
9: Two regions and 16 badges are available.
10: It's the generation that introduced shinies!

Oh, and Balalaika's number 2 reason: HECK YEAH!
