Can some of the censors be turned off in the T-Dome?

    I'm just wondering if some of the censors, those related to the human sex organs mainly, could be turned off for the T-Dome? I don't like seeing my posts end up with ***** because I'm showing that there is little difference between... certain things. =\

    (Homosexuality topic is what I'm referencing to)

    I think people might abuse this though, I can just see little spammers running around posting ***** everywhere. But then it would make posts look more readable, since you wouldnt see ******* every 3 words.

    *shoves Kwesi and/or Steve off to the vBulletin support forums to look for a hack* ^^;

    I find it annoying when stuff gets censored out in there... and I'm just thinking a few words, like the sex organs would be uncensored, swear words such as the f word would be left alone. =)

    I pointed out a hack some time ago that would have been useful. It's a usercp toggle that lets you choose if you do or don't want to see censored words. It would be inherently set to "no", but you could go set it to "yes" if you don't mind seeing them. We'd still crack down on people who bypass or use them inappropriately/outside the T-dome, but I think it'd work.

    Just a side note: Since T-dome was/is supposed to be fore mature topics dosent it make sense that the censor would be gone? If it's only for a "mauture" member then that person should have any problems seeing that word. If they do have a problem seeing that word(s) in their, then it's their problem becuse they asked to be let into T-dome and they know what type of topics are being talked about.
