But that just shows that even a girl is capable of things like this. I would probably run from a bear that big. x3 (And yes, I've heard the saying that you can't outrun a bear... X_x)

while i'm not a fan of hunting and question the validity of her judgment (bear going after cub to eat it...:-I) i must admit that is pretty impressive
 
I was honestly disappointed, I was expecting to see some 17 year old wrestling a bear and and cut it up with a knife of somesort. Good effort on her part for killing the bear at 17, but Im sure some PETA people on pc will piss all over her parade though.

I usually am not into hunting, but damn, by the looks of it this sounds pretty damn big of a deal. My PETA Blacklisted neighbor would be proud of her.

Sex is irrelevant to what someone can accomplish. The only limitations for women are those society itself places. That a woman can do something like this should go without saying.
 
Wow that is crazy I can't believe it.

I couldn't even think about doing it. Unless it was going to hurt my friends or family.

I'm not that big a fan of hunting, but at least she processed the bear meat and all that. killing the bear for the sport of it would be just wrong, even if it was an impressive catch. >_>

I wonder what bear meat tastes like. XD

Not really. Men and women are obviously different, and so there are differences in what we can do. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but for the most part this is the truth.

In any case, the girl is very talented, though unfortunately I can't watch the video thanks to FOX and my geographical location.

It would have been more impressive if she just used a knife :P

The inherent differences are not that great. The few I tend to hear most commonly are that men are stronger or that women or men are more level-headed. And yet there are women bodybuilders who can lift more with their pinky that I could with my entire body, and there are both men in women in some of the most stressful and intellectually challenging positions available. In terms of what people can accomplish, slight physical differences aren't usually enough to get in the way.

Well there are several evolutionary differences between us. An example I remember pretty clearly: you know when a women will show you two different things and ask you which color you prefer, and you can't see a difference? That's evolutionary.

Because men evolved with a predilection toward a larger muscle mass they went out and hunted while the women stayed home and gathered berries and the like. The ones that were able to tell the difference between the red berries that were delicious and the slightly darker red berries that were pure poison were the ones who survived to pass down their genes. So there you have it: women are better at seeing colors than men.

I didn't really pay attention to the fact that it was FOX, I was more interested in actually watching the video before forming opinions about it.

he literally couldn't watch the video because FOX doesn't permit viewers to watch from his area, he didn't choose not to because he doesn't like the channel. 8-I

I hate youtube. Every second &%ߧing video I'm linked to is blocked. Screw them.

But, from what I read in this thread, the video is probably nowhere near as awesome as one would expect. Everyone can kill stuff with weapons, but something awesome would be killing such a massive bear (I have no idea what 450 pounds are, but it sounds like a lot) with bare hands.
