2 TB is alright, 4 TB is comfy. Ideally with a 16+ TB NAS, minimum; I may be a data hoarder. Right now, with my current setup including drives I use externally, I've roughly 13.37 TB (meme number but I did the math) of local storage + 2 TB cloud storage, both of which I'm pushing the limits of.
