1)What is the point of collecting ALL 26 Unown? (I actually took the time to collect them all...)
2)On seven island there's a house with an old lady inside and the backdoor is blocked with boxes. What's in that room?

1: It isn't impotiant in Lg/Fr. It's kind of neat to have all of them, but you don't get anything for it.

2: That house looks almost the same as the one in Mossdeep City, Ru/Sa. The one in Ru/Sa was used for battling trainers scanned in with an E-Reader. I think the house on 7 island is for battling trainers, but Lg/Fr doesn't support E-Reader, so there would have to be another way of getting the trainers into the game.

There's actually 28 Unown: all of the Roman alphabet, "?", and "!".

I think it's neat that there's so many of them. They're like Spinda -- each one looks a bit different.

You could always arrange them in your boxes to spell your name, your favourite colour, or obscene profanities...

Wrong, I've heard that FR/LG is compatable with E-Reader so you could morph altering cave to catch Johto pokemon that you can's catch normally like Houndour or Miltank...

I suggest you read the frostweaver's FAQ. There are several glaring errors in the lineup.

Actualy, the Altering cave is changed with the "Mystery Gift" function, through the wireless adapter.

You need to use mystery gift to get the boxes to move.Tis is how to unlock it.Go to any Pok'emart and you will see a paper by the clerk.Hit A in front of it.It says it's a questionare do you want to fill it out?Select Yes.Then type in the words Link Together With All.Viola.You have Mystery Gift.There also a site that tells you the same thing.Here's the link. www.abccheats.com

i should stop replying to my own thread, but ive collected all 26 unown on gold/silver and never found a ? or ! unown and it just gave me my prize off the bat, a chance to print out the whole unown alphabet, which is quite helpful for translating the secret messages on crystal version, but quite useless considering gameboy printer wasnt available in america or canada anymore

In GSC, you get rewarded for finding the 26 unown, but in LG/FR, there are 28 unown, and you don't get anything for geting them all.

Simple questions for the questions and Strategies/Movesets for team rating please.

There is no reqard for getting the 28 (2 were added in Ru/Sa, though unobtainable) Unown yet, except for bragging rights or writing six letter notes in your team. The upcoming Dash will also allow you to race on these Unown.

That is just like the room in Ru/Sa. You swipe an E-Card and you battle someone. Though Nintendo of America removed all E-Card support for the English version...

Altering Cave is altered by using Mystery Gift with a Nintendo Wonder Spot (promotional machine). The whole E-Card thing was a rumor going around before Nintendo announced it officially that you used Mystery Gift. English FR/LG has no E-Card support because NoA hates us all.
