Hogwash. Complete and utter hogwash. I don't like believing otherwise, because I get too freaked out about it and buy into every little thing that could possibly support it. So, no. On 12/21/12, I'll be eagerly looking forward to Christmas.
 
December 12, 2012? For all we know, the world could end in a few hours. *shrugs* I'm just gonna keep living my life happily. and laugh at all the idiots going nuts that December 21st.
 
Whatever, why believe Mayan prophets when there are no Mayans remaining? They couldnt even figure out their own survival so I will handle mine myself thank you. I dont feel like my time is near an end and its silly to let people scare you.

It's going to happen and you guys can kid yourself's as much as you want but if you're still alive on 12/21/12, It will be your last day ever.
I've also bough a gun so I will be able to kill myself before 12/21/12 so I wont live to see it, Because really its horrible stuff and I for one don't want to view it with my own eyes. I'll be dead.

Just because you believe in pseudo-scientific B.S doesn't make it true.
I feel really sad for you, because you don't even know if it will come true or not. you are just swallowing whatever ancient civilizations said MUST'VE happened.
But I guess the only way to find out is by waiting for it to come, since this just HAS to be the right "end of the world", and all of the other "end of the world" theories were wrong. Sadly, if you follow what you have said, then you won't live to see the beautiful snow falling ever so gracefully to the ground, where they will dissipate into water particles.

But you'll be the one to see the end of the world, you'll have a horrible death while I will already be dead. No doubt you'll see the savage blood stains crash so violently to the floor as you yourself are killed. The world crashing before you and there will be nothing you can do about it, you'll try to end your life peacefully but it will fail. You'll be killed in the most painfullway possible.

I think its sad that you want something like that to happen or want to view it. That's why I will be killing myself, that's why I won't be alive when the world ends.That's why I'm sane and also rather smart, unlike the others.

Whats keeping from ending your life now? the world is a terrible place already, u should speed up the proccess.

Why should we base our lives on stories that people made up so long ago? No proof what ao evar! Its all made up stories.
 
Hey, talked with my friend again, so he gave me a more precise description.

So rather than planetary alignment, it's that the sun aligns with the center of the galaxy. In this way, the sun eclipses the center of the galaxy, and makes most of the stars "disappear" due to the brightness of the sun. Without the stars, the passage of time halts, hence the end of the calendar. Also, he brought up the point that it's interesting how the "end of the world" occurs on the Winter Solstace.
 
H☆ZA; Made up stories? you've gotta be joking all the signs are out there, there's a bloody calendar! And hey I could say the same thing about Christianity people base there lives around it, MILLIONS of people do, and we've got no proof that Jesus lived, died then came back from the dead.

Yes there is a calender. They eventually had to stop somewhere right? 2012 happened to be it maybe? Who knows. And I dont believe in the Bible either. You can never trust what is written by man.

The proof is out there and if you really look into it, it has been told that man didn't create the calender, it was other beings.

Man only constructed it.

Anyway, can you give me a list of proof suggesting that the world will end in 2012 without stating things that people have told you or that you read on the internet or saw on cable?
 
According to several theories I've heard, I think at times that it will and at times that it won't. Once I was watching a TV Show about that the Mayans made some crystal skulls and that there is either 12 or 13 and if we don't find them by 12/21/12 we will all die. They seem to have a strong magnetic force and close to one of the Mayans temples they found crystal pieces on the stream. Then there is the theory that Mayans could've become lazy and stopped. Anyways, if it does end on 12/21/12 then it'll be 12/20/12 on some places of the world so some places might "die" first.
