I've been meaning to get around to making one of these, but I've been rather busy getting my trade shop running again. So here I am! Entering the big bad world of question asking. My mind shudders at the possibilities of what you may ask me, but I am not shy. Ask me whatever you want to, and I will answer.

    Age: 22

    Interests:
-Pokemon Games, Cards, Challenges, and Trading
    -Video Games
    -Video Production
    -Manga/Anime
    -Godzilla
-American Comics (though less than Manga)
    -Film
    -Roleplaying

Things I have been known to Fan-Boy over:
    -Team Rocket Trio
    -Team Plasma
    -Sonic the Hedgehog
    -Knuckles the Echidna
    -Blaze the Cat
    -The Binding of Isaac
    -Tyranitar
    -Thundurus Therian Forme
    -Bioshock Infinite
    -Yami Marik
    -Anzu
    -Mecha King Ghidorah
    -Salvador from Borderlands 2
    -Sydian

The only thing I would like for you to not ask me about, is the nature of why I IV breed instead of RNG. I can get a little touchy when people start to belittle my methods, and I prefer to avoid an argument when possible. I IV breed for one reason: I enjoy it. Simple as that.

I am currently getting ready to go to college to study Film Production, which is a passion of mine.

Very important dingo. Wait, that's not right... Honorably stubborn Scout.

What do you think of Oregon compared to Louisana?

What do you think of Oregon compared to Louisana?
Well, for me the Northwest is my home. I grew up here. It was strange going somewhere so vastly different, not just geographically, but also personally.

To start off with, it's very flat in Louisiana. In Oregon there's mountains all around, and lots of hills (unless you happen to be in the desert). As a result, the sun is up for longer in Louisiana. The tree variety in Louisiana is also very different. In Oregon, there's green everywhere, but in Louisiana you see far fewer, and much smaller trees.

People in New Orleans are simply the nicest I have ever met. Random people will just start talking to you, and it won't feel weird or forced. This was definitely unusual for me coming from an area where most people will just keep to themselves. Walk by someone on the street, just ignore them and don't make eye contact. In Nawlins, you say hi to just about everyone who crosses your path.

In the Northwest, when you see a street performer, you think, "that guy should go get a real job." But in Nawlins, there's entire streets bustling with activity from street performers, all making loads of money off tourists, and successfully making a living doing something they love to do.

Well, that went on longer than I thought it would. Hope it's enlightening. On the whole, I prefer the scenery here, and love the culture down there. If only we had a middle ground.

Do you miss NOLA? I feel like that's my second home, since my household is heavily influenced by NOLA culture and it's our popular spot to go.

I've probably asked this in Nest, but what are your favorite and least favorite sets?

What other Pokemon do you like aside from Tyranitar?

Go into detail on video production for me? Like what about it interests you, how did you end up liking it, what kind of work do you do with it, etc?
I took Video Production in High School. Freshman year, I actually had signed up for Photography, cuz that seemed like fun. I wound up moving over the summer though, and switched schools as a result. The new school already had Photography booked up, so the counselor suggested Video Production. I went into class not knowing anyone. Everyone else seemed to already have their friends and was split up into groups. As it happened, there was a pair there who needed one more. These two wound up becoming my best friends in High School, it's amazing how you somehow manage to find people with similar interests when you go to school. Anyway, I loved it, we had lots of fun shooting videos. I wound up taking 3 years of Video Production, even though my friends weren't always in the class. One thing that wound up standing out was the fact that I was the only person on the group who actually enjoyed editing videos, and always wound up being the one to do it. Apparently it's not a very enjoyable job to all people, and I can kind of understand why. It's very time consuming and can be a real pain to get just perfect. But I loved it dammit! Striving for that perfect moment when the whole video comes together is just the best feeling in the world. And even if the video shooting, or acting turns out to be crap, you know that you did a good job editing it. My teacher in that class was also a huge help. He was just the absolute best teacher ever. He gave us deadlines, but if he knew for a fact that we were still working on something he would give us more time. As a good student of his class, I was able to take advantage of this a lot. He was always full of life lessons, and fun stories about his days in college. As a whole, I love the medium of video. There's so much you can do, and so much beauty you can put into a moving image. These days I think it's in a bit of a slump creativity and artistically, but it's on the rise, and I hope to one day be a part of bringing good film making back.

    Necrum takes a deep breath

I have a few videos uploaded to YouTube if you know where to look. Maybe I'll blog about them some day.

I do miss NOLA, but I missed the Northwest even more. I love NOLA a lot, but it was never my intention to live there forever. I didn't really have any friends outside of work, so it wasn't too difficult to leave except that my Mom lives there. I also miss my cats, lemme show you some pice my mom sent me:
    Spoiler:

I've probably asked this in Nest, but what are your favorite and least favorite sets?
Assuming you mean TCG sets, my favorite is Fossil. It just brings back so many memories and it was my absolute favorite as a kid for it's inclusion of Pokemon like Gengar and Lapras, as well as Kabutops. My favorite in the BW series is officially Plasma Freeze, even though it just came out I still think it's got some amazing art and some really cool Pokemon.

I really hate the Gym Leader sets. I just don't like them. I'm also not big on the Emerging Powers set, which is unfortunately included with EVERYTHING.

What other Pokemon do you like aside from Tyranitar?
Ho-Oh has been a big favorite of mine ever since I played Crystal. I didn't fully appreciate it in Gold Version. But it winds up being a beast. I love Yanma/mega. Bug type Pokemon in general are awesome. I always wanted a Yanma back in the day but it was damn near impossible to find! Drapion has joined the ranks of my favorite Pokemon, as well as Bronzong, ever since I started battling and discovered their potential. Muk is a classic staple of my list, dating back to the days of Fossil set, which is another reason why I like that set, lmao.

Back in the day my list included stuff I don't particularly care for any more, such as Dugtrio and Porygon. There's so many Pokemon I love. All for different reasons.

What pokemon most accurately describes you?
I usually like to think of myself as a Starmie. I often try to be as analytical as possible, and I have been known to be a little overly logical, even if my logic doesn't always make sense to everyone else. I personally believe that that sort of question is better to ask others about yourself. It's very difficult for me to accurately judge myself, as I usually end up either praising myself too much, or being overly critical of myself. Wow, I really am a Starmie, aren't I? lmao

What was the hardest challenge you've done?

Describe you self in four words.

    Favorite Pokemon game?

Is there a Pokemon you absolutely hate?

What was your worse trading experience?

What was the hardest challenge you've done?
Assuming you mean Pokemon Challenge, I would say that both times I Nuzlocked were quite difficult. I never finished either of them, I wound up losing my entire team both instances. First time was extremely disappointing. I made it all the way to Agatha, 2 trainers from completing the game!

My current Bug Monotype is also incredibly difficult. SoulSilver is not nice to bug types. I will be very happy when I can get a Heracross and Scyther. I want a Foretres, too.

Describe you self in four words.
Jeez, 3 words was hard enough, do I really have to do 4 words too? Go look at my response to Gonzo. It's not 4 words, but I'm way too tired to answer this.

    Favorite Pokemon game?
Pokemon HeartGold. This was the game that got me back into Pokemon. I thought the amount of polish, and the attention to detail to make it true to the original while also making it it's own entity was simply amazing. There are several things about HGSS that I was really disappointed did not carry over to BW. Despite its novelty, having Pokemon follow was incredibly fun. The touch based interface for any action was also among my favorite things. Overall I just love the game. I am, and forever will be a Johto nerd.

Is there a Pokemon you absolutely hate?
Rattata. Rattata is just the most useless Pokemon in the world. I hate Rattata so much. When I Nuzlocked, I caught a Rattata, ya know, gave it the benefit of the doubt. I had never used one. It seemed pretty good for a while. Then BAM, it was dead. Some could argue that Magikarp is a worse Pokemon. But you know, Magikarp evolves into Gyarados eventually. You know what Rattata evolves into? NOT GYARADOS!

What was your worse trading experience?
Truthfully, I don't think I've really had what I would call a bad trading experience. I've had some annoying situations trying to get on at the same time as someone, or waiting for them to enter. But as of yet I haven't knowingly been swindled, and my customers are usually quite patient with me. Heck, I just had a guy come in and re-submit a request I was unable to do a couple months ago because I was so busy with work, so even after all that waiting he was still willing to work with me. I just love trade corner. So many awesome people, all willing to help one another (though sometimes it requires the right price).

I did recently discover a hack among my events of unknown origin. It was not an easy one to detect and I have Tabor to thank for spotting it. It was a Faraway Island Mew from Emerald, but it was English, which does not exist. Pokecheck still reads it as legal, because it is possible to obtain, and it is generated by the game, but it requires cheats to get to the island. i don't know who traded it to me, it was too long ago, but ultimately it doesn't matter, They probably didn't know so I won't search too hard.

What's the worst challenge you've ever done?

How do you feel about donuts?

Well I own the Team Rocket Fanclub so...
Keep in mind that I have not kept up with the anime over the years, so i don't know every detail. I just love them, especially in Kanto and Johto.

    Favourite Pokémon James has owned?
I love his Weezing, even though it's gone now. I only saw it a little so far, but his Yamask is pretty sweet. But my all time favorite would be that Magikarp. Because Magikarp is baws, yo!

    Favourite Wobbuffet moment?
When Brock is reffing the double battle of Ash and James vs May and Jessie in the Bicker the Better, and Wobbuffet is standing right next to him imitating his every movement, lmao.

What would you like to see Team Rocket base a mecha of of?
I think it would be cool to have a Hydreigon Mecha. Especially if they were attacking PokeStar Studios and the Mecha-Tyranitar was there and OMGITWOULDBELIKEWATCHINGGODZILLAVSKINGGHIDORAHNERDOVERLOAD!!!!

What's the worst challenge you've ever done?
Solo with Gallade. I can't do Solo, I just can't. I get too over powered too fast, and it just gets boring, boring, boring.

How do you feel about donuts?

    Yum

I know you love Yami Marik, and if I remember correctly you love YGOTAS. Do you like the actual character or the YGOTAS version better? Why?

    Favorite kind of music?

I know you love Yami Marik, and if I remember correctly you love YGOTAS. Do you like the actual character or the YGOTAS version better? Why?
I've always loved villains. Going way back to my days as a child when I was obsessed with Dr. Robotnik. I think that something about them just resonates with me because I wasn't very popular as a child, and know what it's like to be the outcast. As I grew up I kinda fell in love with darker, more gothic themes (not like goth kids, I mean the traditional gothic). So when I watched Yu-Gi-Oh and there was stuff like the Shadow Realm, an unknowable place of darkness, in conjuncture with playing card games, another of my childhood passions, I was stricken by it. I like Yami Marik in particular because he's the embodiment of Marik's pain. It's clear on a physical level just how different Marik is from his Yami form. Yami Marik constantly looks like he's in pain, and the only way to satiate that pain is to inflict it upon others. The transition from a character who wants revenge to one who wants Chaos was a welcome one to me. Too many villains want revenge these days, not enough of them are like the Joker, just doing stuff to cause chaos. Yami Marik is evil in it's most pure form, and that sets him apart from most characters in Yu-Gi-Oh.

I do like the YGOTAS personality, I'm glad LittleKuribo was able to effectively give life to Melvin in Abridged, and many of my favorite moments from it are his lines. I think it's hard to compare one to the other though, since Melvin's personality plays off the original so well. I believe a great man once said, "Give me a hug!"

    Favorite kind of music?
I listen to Heavy Metal, but none of that Screamo crap. I mostly listen to older bands like Iron Maiden, and Megadeth, but also have a few newer bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Mastodon, which is the closest you'll hear me listening to extreme vocal styles.

Who is your least favorite YGO character, in the actual anime and YGOTAS?

What is your favorite meal for dinner?

Who is your least favorite YGO character, in the actual anime and YGOTAS?
Jeez, I haven't really given this much thought. Well, in Abridged I wanna say Rex and Weevil are tied. I honestly am not a big fan of littlekuribo using Beevis and Butt-head characterizations for these characters. It just seems really out of place to me with the rest of abridged, and I feel like he kinda got stuck with it later. In the actual anime, it's probably Ghost Kaiba. Seriously, dafuq? They completely butchered that entire scenario from the Manga and it was ridiculous.

What is your favorite meal for dinner?
Sushi. I friggin love Sushi. It is my favorite food ever. Thanks a lot Syd, now I want some sushi at 1 in the morning. :P
