    What is now known as "Gengar's Gallery" was once a beautiful exhibit hall displaying all manner of creative prowess, owned and managed by a wealthy private collector. But as the years went on and the economic downturn worsened, the collector turned to his vast collection for financial aid and began to sell the wonderful works. As the masterpieces gradually disappeared, the hauntings began. A lone Gengar was the only Pokémon ever seen, but the cries echoing throughout the gallery certainly belonged to far more Pokémon. The collector quickly finished selling his collection and closed the gallery, leaving the ghosts to their now desolate home.

    Years later, a young woman discovered she had inherited the gallery. She had no idea what to do with it, as the still upset Pokémon terrorized anyone who walked through the doors. After thinking about the stories associated with the place, she came up with a plan. She believes the ghosts are upset by the loss of art, so she has commissioned a variety of local artists to create seasonally themed pieces for the gallery. She is accepting anything that could count as art- photos, paintings, sketches, cosplay, poetry, short stories, whatever the artists can think of to fit the autumnal theme.

    Gather now, artists of all types and abilities, share your works with the lonely souls. Create and submit as many pieces as you desire- you will receive compensation for anything you choose to donate. Submissions will be closed after November 2.

    Oh yes! I believe you've taken the right step on this venture. I totally agree with the "Ghost types having not enough art to look at" part so I guess it's a fair thing to do as well... just hope they wont haunt if us we fail to deliver XD

    You'll expect my 'donation' soon.

    Is a Halloween theme required for the artworks submitted? If not, I guess I could contribute an existing artwork of mine:
    Bianca... or Latias?

    And a sketch version, if you slightly prefer it over the digital painting version :3

    It's a lone Drifloon looking down on Lumiose City at night. Routes 4, 5, and 16 are also shown but they're hard to see in this picture.
    I was aiming to finish this on Halloween but the day after is close enough haha

    No gifts for being cruel :3
    But I do have something as an (late) entry.

    It's a small picture of my favourite Ghost type Pokémon featured in the anime! I tried to make it as colourful as possible (drawing Chandelure wasn't as hard as I expected tbh)

    At the corner you can see Shuppet trying to act as a clown, that is probably the cutest Pokémon EVER to come on the Hoenn saga. I still remember a few excerpts.

    At the other side poor Drifloon's worried about where the two thread-ings coming out of its head went (I actually drew them but I decided this would fit better with a dark theme.) Drifloon was rather alright but I feel I should have stuffed in Fantina's Drifblim instead... oh well.

    And out there is Rotom looking a bit distraught (prolly because he didn't find no electronix out here in the dark). I loved the haunted house episode (especially when Rotom stole the food) and it was pure Halloween material, plus Rotom's one of my fave Pokémon.

    But the centerpiece is a Chandelure blazing with fire along with Lampent and Litwick, my fave Ghost type Pokémon and I really wanted them to show more of Trip's Lampent. Anyhow, I really think Chandelure was a bit under used in my opinion. Litwick is pretty cute too. Plus very Halloweenish.

    Yay, finally finished mine ^^

    I wanted to draw a cute Ghost-type Pokemon, and I was thorn between Pumpkaboo and Phantump, so in the end I decided, hey, wynaut both?

    Spoiler:

    Sketch was done on paper, lineart and colors in ArtRage + pixlr. I had a lot of fun with this, and I love everyone's "donations" a lot!

    @Hoenn
    Your Ghost parade looks really fun, I also love the Chandelure line, and their poses are really interesting!

    @Sammyskitty
    Espurr in Amie is the cutest thing ever :pink_love:

    @jsziede
    Love the perspective there! Drifloon was my first choice too actually, but in the end I really wanted to do a gen 6 Ghost-type.

    Thank you all for the wonderful pieces. Surely the ghosts will be placated, at least for a while. :P

    Emblems will be distributed soon & keep an eye out around Valentine's day for another gallery event!
