Pokémon Platinum Red and Blue Versions are two separate GBA hacks. Platinum Red is a full demake of Pokémon Platinum Version on the GBA, while Platinum Blue, still using Sinnoh, has many other features and sidequests.

Mystery Gift ~ There will be events so stay updated on the threads, and there's a tutorial video on how to get events.
Sinnoh Region in its best ~ Using the Platinum tiles, looks, everything [and even things like the distortion world]
DS-styled sprites ~ Sprites that have the DS battle feel
493 Pokémon ~ The first 493 Pokémon are available
New moves ~ The battle moves up to DPPt including the Physical/Special changes

Q: Will you be doing 3D?
A: No.
Q: Will you add shadows to the buildings?
A: Well there's a catch to doing so. Even though I added the new tile system, shadows are going to take a lot of space/time/work. It takes extra palettes (that I don't have), extra tiles (that I may use for other structures), and extra blocks (that I need for making the map). So if all of these inspections pass when I'm done mapping once and for all, I will add shadows. But now, it's just a wall in the road to progress.
Q: How about fake 3D?

I'm a full-time student. Platinum Red & Blue are not my priorities, and when I do have free time, I don't always go straight to them. It has been a long time since I've been able to consistently make them, and that's why a few years have passed without any substantial work to show. However, I am on the Romhackers' chat if you want to contact me or the team. I post stuff there before here, and it's also nice to get to know people.

I did say that it isn't a demake, but it uses the characters and region. :D It includes sidequests and different stories.

Well, it certainly has a nice list of features.

However, to be honest, the text palette and grass tiles look awful. Especially the grass, it's too undefined, and the palette is awkward.

On the other hand, 493 Pokemon is quite impressive, so good work.

The text and grass are things that aren't finished yet :D
Kinda procrastinating from fixing them. The grass is native FR grass using tree tile palette on a pixel filter, lel :)

Usually, I am not one to knock somebody on the palette they choose, but this one does seem very plain and vibrant. Maybe I am misremembering how the original Platinum looked, but it does seem really bright.

Tile colours aside, this looks very fantastic and am interested in getting my hands on it as soon as I can.

It's really bright due to DNS making day time yellowish, and night blueish. Kinda annoying, waiting for a new type of D/N system. The tiles are Platinum ripped, so they can't get more real than that, but buildings and such are more edited. Environment:Platinum, Man-made:redone.
Simple.

This, I would give a 10/10, are you sure you're not using screenies from the real Platinum, because this bugger is a really well sprited and well tiled game, you could fool someone, with this. I'll be looking forward to a release.
