Bomb Scare

    Today there was a bomb scare at my school. During lunch at around noon the PA system told everyone to "evacuate the building". It turns out that three or four kids had BAGS full of chemical bombs and were goign to set them off in the school. It also turns out that one of those kids was my friend. Scary.
     
    ?Freaky. Pity one of them was yar friend? he's going to have to spend some time locked away?

    When will people learn that bombs are not something to screw around with?
     
    Yeah my dads a cop and arrested him. I knew this kid was messed up though. he had like 5 airsoft guns, and tons of swords and knifes n stuff. egger. freaky if he actually had a chance to use them.
     
    Hmmm? an owner of weapons, eh? Pity people can't see the signs earlier.
     
    there were a lot of bomb threats at my school a few years back. They really are scary, ppl need to quit screwing around with things like that.
     
    Reminds me of a bomb threat I had in 10th grade...

    It was a cold November Friday, around second period...I was in the computer lab with my word processing class typing a letter, when they tell us to evacuate the building. Thinking that it'll all be over in ten minutes, I abandon my work, get my gear, and follow my class outside.

    Hours tick by, and the all clear hasn't come yet, so they send us into the cafeteria for lunch (which was in a seperate building) and to get warm. I try to keep my mind off the scary situation by chatting with my friends.

    The all clear finally came with ten minutes to go before school let out...we're told to go to our seventh period classes, but half the school is bailing, so I bailed too.

    When my mom asked me how school went, I replied: "Here's what happened today: Nothing!"
     
    Before Winter Break we had at least two bomb threats a week.

    They ceased quite quickly when they stopped letting kids go to the bathroom...

    Wow that is so shocking jasonerno.I cant believe that happened to a person like you.And your friend why did he do it.At least almost everyone was okay.
     
    Back when i was younger we had a bomb threat,turns out it was just some immature 8th grader wanting attention *shrugs* Some people will just never learn.
     
    Everyone was fine, except for my arse...which had to sit in a junior high gym for 2 and a half hours. and nobody got to get their cars/stuff from school. the highschool area is COMPLETELY locked down.

    somebody tried to set my sister's school on fire last year. people who want to destroy things (especially schools) aren't my friends. it's sad that somebody would have such negative feelings. last summer i was in a museum in mexico and we had to evacuate it because of a "double bomb threat" (i think that means that there were supposedly two bombs?) but, it was kinda scary. that was a crazy day. we saw a hit and run, got a bomb threat, saw a guy rush the boarder and people tried to talk us into going into girly clubs. but, i'm sorry that happened, that would be hella lame to have your friends arrested.

    Well that blows..just kill everyone and they'll get killed themselves, end of story. Now they'll spend their childhood in a detention center. And they'd be expelled also, am I right or wrong?
     
    Man, that sucks! My school has never had a bomb threat since I've been there. We've had some lockdowns where they simply say over the intercom Code L, this is a Code L. or something like that, and all the teachers lock the doors, close the blinds, turn off the lights, and make everyone get underneath the desks. That usually happens whenever there is a robberry at the bank down the street, or a kidnapping/hostage crisis in the neighborhood nearby. But a bomb threat?
     
    now it turns out they found 3 pipe bombs in a kids backback, and another one in the 2nd story storage room. The one upstairs was strong enough to blow the roof off. they stil havent defused a couple of them.
     
    About 4 years ago when I was in 7th grade we had a bomb thread but it turned out it was fake. We all had to go through metal detecotrs and search through our backpacks but all they found was one guy had some weed and another guy and a porno magazine XD

    I can't understand why anyone would want to kill a group of people they don't even know =\ it's so selfish..
