Why make light type moves when light type doesn't exist? I know people will disagree, but I hate light type, the whole idea of it. It isn't the opposite of dark...but b4 I go all crazy lol, I think I'll stop.

[PokeCommunity.com] 5th gen ideas for names pokemon attacks etc if they have one which we want

Tardigrades (commonly known as moss piglets or water bears) comprise the phylum Tardigrada. They are small, segmented animals, similar and probably related to the arthropods. Tardigrades were first described by Johann August Ephraim Goeze in 1773 (kleiner Wasserbär = little water bear). The name Tardigrada means "slow walker" and was given by Spallanzani in 1777. Tardigrades are small animals. The biggest adults may reach a body length of 1.5 mm, the smallest below 0.1 mm. Freshly hatched larvae may be smaller than 0.05 mm.

More than 900 species of tardigrades have been described. Tardigrades occur over the whole world, from the high Himalaya (above 6,000 m) to the deep sea (below 4,000 m) and from the polar regions to the equator.

The most convenient place to find tardigrades is on lichens and mosses. Other environments are dunes, beaches, soil and marine or freshwater sediments, where they may occur quite frequently (up to 25,000 animals per litre). Tardigrades often can be found by soaking a piece of moss in spring water.

Water bears are able to survive in extreme environments that would kill almost any other animal. They can survive temperatures close to absolute zero, temperatures as high as 151°C (303°F), 1000 times more radiation than any animal, a little over a century without water, and can also survive in a vacuum like that found in space.

This is from the Wikipedia page on them, so give them credit. To see more visit the page here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_bear

^Hmm... In the scientific community, Wikipedia isn't considered highly reliable because of the fact that anyone can write entries in it, I'm afraid :(. Even though this stuff you found's kind of accurate, it's a lot better to do a google search for university or other scientific studies that've been done on animals. That's what I do when I'm curious about a certain animal or looking for inspiration for some of my fakemon.

Now, since we're kind of on the subject cool animals that should be done. We definitely need a bombadier beetle Pokemon. It has a nasty chemical that it sprays from its rear to burn attackers. It'd be cool to have some adaptation of that.

Here's an idea I had a while ago but never got to in depth with.

Bombug-Bug/Poison
Coreetle-Bug/Poison
Scarosion-Bug/Dark

I had to lol at the movepool. All hyper beam moves are lol, and dragon rage already exists...Dragon rush=dragon smash. The name wasn't so good either. I see it too weak anyways though, so oh well. Perhaps 10 more speed...cuz even dragonite is faster:\

Hey guys heres a thought since I am a good spriter why don't you show me a picture if you can and I can think of names for them I mastered the name titling that way it will sound cool. Also I will make possible moves(mastered the effects and etc.)

oo new types would be coool... it would make all the battling confusing though to land critical hits!!

im sure people have stated this here but the type 'light' would be cool!!

like many people have said before Light is like electric.if any new types should decide to emerge I would say they should be a beast type!

Also Skunter can I use your pokemon in my fakedex?I will be the only one to see it so could I use them I will not copy it onto anywhere.

Beast=animal=normal.

Light=electric

I'm so sick of new types...let's face it, they won't happen, and very few of the ideas are worthwhile, like light type.

Magneton turned on the light!
Gengar fainted!

Uh, no.

Alakazam used light blast (the most common made up light move I see)!
Magikarp fainted!

Uh, no.

Fire hurts.
Water...flooding hurts.
Dragons...help!
Flying...they're in the air, aerial assaults hurt.
ground...earthquakes hurt.
Rock(s) hurt.
Electric attacks hurt.
Grass...getting clobbered by a bagillion leaves hurts.
Normal...is normal.
Fighting...punching hurts.
Steel...anything steel hurts.
Poison hurts.
Bug...they can hurt...spiders for example.
Ghost...AGH! They will hurt you.
Dark...sinister pokemon are gonna hurt you, and their sinister attacks.

Light...doesn't hurt. Light punch! No. light punch=mega punch. Because light won't be punching anything.
