Beast=animal=normal.

Light=electric

I'm so sick of new types...let's face it, they won't happen, and very few of the ideas are worthwhile, like light type.

Magneton turned on the light!
Gengar fainted!

Uh, no.

Alakazam used light blast (the most common made up light move I see)!
Magikarp fainted!

Uh, no.

Fire hurts.
Water...flooding hurts.
Dragons...help!
Flying...they're in the air, aerial assaults hurt.
ground...earthquakes hurt.
Rock(s) hurt.
Electric attacks hurt.
Grass...getting clobbered by a bagillion leaves hurts.
Normal...is normal.
Fighting...punching hurts.
Steel...anything steel hurts.
Poison hurts.
Bug...they can hurt...spiders for example.
Ghost...AGH! They will hurt you.
Dark...sinister pokemon are gonna hurt you, and their sinister attacks.

Light...doesn't hurt. Light punch! No. light punch=mega punch. Because light won't be punching anything.

LIGHT DOES HURT! MY EYES! THE GLASSES DO NOTHING!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Aaaaaanywayyyyys

Guard Spine ( Ability )
All physical attackers are hurt 20% of the damage they have delt to the Pokemon with this ability. (OMG I CLONED ROUGH SKIN AND GAVE IT A DIFFERENT NAME!! ;))

Glad you pointed that out Name.

Alakazam use light bulb throw!
Squirtle's eyes started hurting!

Oh, the power...

Sugar Rush

Radiation hurts alot so I think that a radiation type would work...

And here is a radiation move...

Gamma Beam
Type: Radiation
Style: Special
Power 80
Acc: 100
Hits the foe with a beam of high power radiation, penetration all defences (light screen, harden etc.)

Radiation = Fire

Simple as that

Not really...fire is good againt bug, but cocroaches and ants etc. can survive at ground zero of a nuclear bomb site...so I think bugs should be immune to the radiation type...

Radiation=Fire/Poison. A Fire/Poison Pokemon could be The radiation Pokemon, but no type. Only new type thaty COULD work would be light, and it would still suck.

Radiation? No. What are we gonna have, the power plant pokemon? Then again, I'm so against new types you might as well ignore me...

Heheh... I just realized I said scientific when I mean academic... Sorry, Pikachu2007...

Anyways, I think it'd be cool if we had all mammalian starters based on the ermine (fire-type), porcupine (grass-type), and otter (water-type). Anyone else think this'd be cool?

Well, I guess I'm beat about the radiation type then...oh well :)
what an ermine? *feels dum*
Uhh, yeah what is an ermine?

EDIT: I've just found out that 'ermine' is a type of stoat that lives in cold regions such as Canada and northern Eurasia, so why would that be a fire type pokemon?...:\

Here's a pic...

Too many attack moves in the movepools, and too many moves altogether really. Otherwise, I like the ideas.

NEW ABILITIES!

Harsh Hold-Triples damage of continuos moves
Evading Erosion-Water Moves do 1/2 Damage
Slick Belly-Increases speed whenever hit by water attack
Loyally Obdient-When confused, never hurts itself and raises attack
Evil Eye-Has a 10% Chance of paralizing the foe upon entry

Too many attack moves in the movepools, and too many moves altogether really. Otherwise, I like the ideas.
The reason why the first one has so many attacks is that I replaced Embargo and Heal Block, then added an additional attack that it learns when it evolves. It really only gained 3 attacks and one is just a pumped up Sunny Day.

I changed some of it. I replaced Embargo with Morningsun and Moonlight, changed Flame Wheel to Astral Power, the opposite of Cosmic Power. I also removed Terra Absorb with Lunar Dance since it's more of a support Pokemon, not an annoyer / attacker.

Helioslag is supposed to be more offense based, so it gets more attacks while Celeacrag is more support based so it gets some nice things to pass via Baton Pass.

And Probopass learns 18 moves and 8 are attack moves, so I don't think I did too badly on the move numbers.

That's allright. Those sound pretty cool, but why is the ermine a Fie-type? Other than that, it's pretty cool. :)

Drench is like a beefed up rain dance. WAY beefed up. I think it should only be the ground types being effected...anything else makes it cheap. Dounpoor=surf. Maybe change the power and accuracy, otherwise it's kinda useless. I like the rest of the moves.
