    I just noticed that a thread has been made. So, I sent her a pm instead without knowing. Since I'm here now, happy birthday, Nami.
     
    I nearly missed this thread too. Why the heck did Lily give it such a queer title?

    Meh, I'm going to skip the PM. Nami always ignores my PMs anyway. I doubt this one would've been any different.

    Well, she made the thread, so might as well not complain about the title. Although, it is kind of "queer". XD

    Last time I've ever gave Nami a pm was months ago. Come to think of it, she hasn't been active lately. I wonder if she'll even come to this thread, considering that title might not even attract her attention.

    Even WITH a clearler title, there's a chance she wouldn't come here anyway. =\

    one's own logic goes astray
    to an unknown whim of distant source,
    appearing suddenly, perhaps by force--
    but alas, alas, proved wrong again,
    a whirl of loss, this unshadowed bane
    that I, of all, could not foresee
    a splendid gift, to some degree...
    Tried did I, of art and tales,
    words and colors to no avail,
    or music, as to suit your tastes,
    instead letting others soon replace--
    these horrid spells of clichés, cliché!
    to present the lovely Naminé,
    to some degree, I've tried and tried
    'til at last did my great pride decide...
    that why I, of all, should subject my time
    to a gift so fine, a bit too sublime?
    To lend such patience when through the night
    it is I who toiled to earn delight?
    So vague, simple, concise yet queer
    did I ponder 'til all troubles cleared
    in one single stroke of brilliance, light
    I'd found my hope; things would be alright.
    So here I am, here I think and type
    this measly poem that'll make you gripe
    on rhythm, stanzas, the perfect rhyme
    and make sure I've kept my beat on time.
    Inside, you're irked, your face turns white
    but online, you're courteous, sweet, polite,
    and you should be, if I may so add,
    this was fun to write; I'm glad I had...

    you've enjoyed my poem, this I assume
