Why not? I would use my Poke best friend in battle a lot...although other Pokemon may get jealous ;P like Chikorita xD But Pikachu is probably the strongest of Ash's group and...well I think its a good idea ^^

First was when he entered at the end of BF to verse May and
Second was in D/P when he entered because Aipom wanted to or something like that.
