    Name: Kit de Lavender
Age: 14 (is it OK if she's in the middle?)
    Gender: Girl
    Trainer type: Regular
Appearance: Kit generally wears a white t-shirt and green camo pants with white sandals. She occasionally wears a white kitty-eared cap and even more rarely a white kitty tail. She has sapphire blue eyes and long, straight blonde hair. For more formal occasions (if she decides to attend any), she has a long white gown that starts at her chest and goes all the way down to her knees, and she wears formal occasion white slippers. She may also wear sapphire clip-on earrings for the formal occasions.
History: Kit had lived with her parents up until two years ago. At that point, a huge fire in Lavender had wiped out her parents, leaving only her. She buried them in the tower, hoping that their spirits will rest in peace. For the next two years, she was taken care of by Mr. Fuji, who taught her a lot about Pokemon. He gave her a PokeOcarina (which is similar to the PokeFlute). Kit learned plenty of music on her ocarina, some tunes having effects similar to the PokeFlute's main song; others with different effects.

Around the present time, Kit decided to go out and travel around. Mr. Fuji gave her a female Eevee, and told her to evolve it wisely. At first, the Eevee hated Kit and bit her arm various times. But after hearing Kit play the PokeOcarina, the Eevee settled down and started to listen to Kit's soothing music. Seeing how PokeBalls are most likely cramped, Kit decided to keep the Eevee outside the PokeBall, even though any more Pokemon she catches will stay in PokeBalls.
Personality: Kit is overall shy and quiet; she usually comes up with strategies before and during battles. She is good at predicting the opponent's next move, and is usually on-target. However, sometimes in battles, she may become a lot more vicious, turning her personality upside-down. Yet even in battles, she still plays sweet tunes on her ocarina, with the occasional tune that sounds like an attack. Kit reads a lot on Pokemon, their abilities, powers, etc. and is even sometimes told she has unusual abilities (that aren't too out-of-the-ordinary).
Other info: If you won't allow a PokeOcarina, then would it be OK for her to have the PokeFlute?
    Pokemon: Ice
Starter Pokemon: Eevee (nicknamed Jeanne; she will become a Glaceon unless you'll let her start as one; Vaporeon if only 1st gen. is to be used)
RP Sample: Well, you know all my posts from The Second Coming...

  • Name: Jake Richards

    Age: 12

    Gender: Male

    Trainer type: Regular Trainer

Appearance: Jake is around 5'6" tall, weighs about 123 pounds, and rather slender. He has short, dark brown hair, where there is also a little piece that hangs over his right eye. He usually where a black sweatshirt with cargo shorts. He wears white sneakers, which always seem to get dirty too quickly, so he constantly has to wash them. He is about average when it comes to body build, but still he is stronger than he appears. When he is angry, his eyebrows will combine to make a solid straight line across his forehead. When he smiles, he has large dimples that most girls adore. He has a small diamond stub earring in his left ear (I'm trying to get at the left ear is for heterosexual men, and the right ear is for homosexual men. Honestly, I'm not totally sure which way it is though :P). He usually wears a golden cross that his parents gave him when he was born.

History: As a child, Jake actually lived a pretty average life in the world of Pokemon. His parents had total trust for him, he had many friends, and was overall a great guy. That was until he turned to age 10, where he started to hang out with a different group of people. It was basically the typical stereotype group, "The Troublemakers". He started to shirk on his responsibilities, both those at home and in his school. His parents started to lose trust for him, and his close friends from when he was young started to fade away from his list of friends. By age 11, he got into daily trouble, ranging from insubordination, disrespect, compulsive lying, and fights, both verbal and physical.

Around the time he turned 12, his parents lost all faith in him, and put him up into a foster home, to try to teach him to take responsibility for his actions, and try to learn to return to his old light-hearted, gentle-natured ways. Within a matter of months, he had turned his act around. His family took him back in, and life returned to normal. He left his trouble making friends, and returned to his old ones. In the time he was gone, they had all received their first Pokemon. He was jealous, and full of rage, and flushed with anger. He ended up punching one of them in the face. His parents decided they lost hope, and thought the only way to truly teach him responsibility was to live off on his own, along with a few Pokemon. They decided with the advent of the creation of the "gyms", they would try to have him earn one to learn self-respect and responsibility. To match his personality, they found and gave him an Umbreon, a Dark type Pokemon.

Personality: Jake's personality is like his Pokemon, DARK. He doesn't have much control of his temper, a lack of responsibility, and a violence issue. When provoked, he will be full of rage that can be violent to other's health, not to mention his own. He clearly has a lack of respect for authority figures, unless it is himself. Although he usually does have a lack of self-respect, he can respect himself when commanding others. He is actually a natural born leader when put in the right position.

Other info: Although he seems scornful and hateful, he really is a good kid :P

    Pokemon Type: Dark

kekekeke. By "paragraphs" do you mean actual paragraphs like: 4 sentences = 1 paragraph? If so then I'll edit later cuz I might not be able to even finish everything right now.

Name: Yakuro (Yaki or Yak for short) [yah-koo-ro] Keshaen [kay-sin (the [ha] is silent)]

    Age: 17

    Gender: Male

    Trainer Type: Team Crisis

Appearance: Yaki stands at about 5,7 with a weight of 160+. His light gray hair shimmers in the light and is somewhat short. He has it combed forward but some parts stick out in a stubborn manner. Yaki's clothing consists of a red, medium sleeve-length shirt with a black long-sleeved undershirt. On his red shirt is a black stripe that starts at the collar and runs down the center but then splits into a fork down to the him of the shirt, running into his baggy blue jeans. On the left leg of Yaki's pants is a red stripe that circles around the end of the leg. Yaki wears black shoes with red laces. Complimenting Yaki's clothing are his eyes, which are very unusual. They are a bright vermilion red (Vermilion Red) and almost seem to glow in bright light. His normal expression is very calm and soft, not something you'd expect from someone trying to take over the world. Yaki has an overall thin, athletic build. He is very flexible and able to move swiftly on his feet. Yaki exhibits the appearance of an innocent teenager.

History: A few people really understand what happened in Yaki's past as to why he wanted to join Team Crisis to help rule the world. It all started in his hometown: Fuchsia City. It was the first Safari Zone in the whole world, and his parents ran the facility. Yaki loved to play with all the Pokemon domesticated for the special zoo in front of the large zone and sometimes let them free through mischievous behavior. As any parent would do, Yaki was punished. One day, Yaki's parents brought in a very rare Kangashkan for the zoo. Yaki was dumbfounded over lust for the Pokemon. It was the most coolest thing he has ever seen and he constantly thought about stealing it and running it away. But he was only 6 then, what did he know about thievery. Yaki continued to live as usual, thinking about how to steal the large Kangashkan, when about a month later, Team Crisis attacked Fuchsia City. They broke into the Safari Zone and used special type of Poke'balls to capture all the Pokemon. Yaki couldn't believe his eyes as he then seen one of the Team Crisis members just jump into the Kangashkan exhibit and captured the Pokemon resting peacefully there. Before the police could arrive all of the Team Crisis members escaped on a large black helicopter with a large "C" painted on the side. Yaki couldn't believe it, they did exactly what he wanted to do, only they actually did it. His mom then wouldn't let him out the house, afraid Team Crisis would attack again, but Yaki didn't care. He was stuck in a trance of admiration for the deadly Team Crisis. When Yaki turned 15 he decided it was time, time for him to leave the gates of Fuchsia and go to Team Crisis. He left a letter for his parents reading: "Dear mom and dad, I have decided to go on a Pokemon journey. I will head to Pallet Town to receive my first Pokemon and a Poke'dex. Hope you give me all your support." It was a complete lie but Yaki couldn't even bring himself to even think about telling them the truth, it would hurt them far too much. Yaki decided to leave late at night and his first stop was the Safari Zone Zoo. He stealthily crept through the dark city and slowly came upon the cages filled with sleeping Pokemon, except for the Zubat cave. They were naturally nocturnal. First, Yaki sneaked into the Dratini tank. He heard his parents talking about capturing an interesting pink Dratini and putting it in the exhibit with the other Dratini. He stood on the wooden edge that went around the whole tank. It was for the zoo keepers to stand so they can feed the Dratini. On the very edge of the tank was a large cave, an added feature to the tank for the shelter for the Dratini. Inside the cave there was land where all the Dratini slept peacefully and some slept right where the land slopes down into the water. Sleeping peacefully on one side of the cave was the pink Dratini. Yaki pulled out a special type of Safari Ball, the kind his parents used to capture any Pokemon for the zoo, that he snatched earlier and threw it at the Pokemon. The ball shook 3 times and a red light shone. Yaki ran to pick up the ball and quickly got out the cave. Then Yaki continued on to the Nidoran exhibit, careful not to wake the sleeping Nidokings and Nidoqueens. He silently pulled out a special Safari Ball and threw it at a random Nidoran. It turned out to be a boy. Suddenly there was the growl of a pack of Growlthies and a bright light shone directly on Yaki. It was the Fuchsia police. Yaki ran and jumped out the exhibit with the growling and barking Growlthie right behind him. Little did they realize was that Nidokings and Nidoqueens were sleep and didn't want to be awakened. Yaki's little problem was dealt with by the Pokemon inhabiting the exhibit and got away easily. For two years he traveled around Kanto, looking for a sign of Team Crisis when one day, in Cerulean city he found them. He actually found their secret base or perhaps one of them. It was right on the outskirts of Cerulean covered by a lot of trees. Yaki went inside and was quickly seized, but he pleaded to join them and after a lot of torturing he was then accepted into the team, but only as a grunt. They decided he could be a nice foot soldier for the team and get valuable items and Pokemon for the group. Yaki was finally doing what he really wanted to do, steal Pokemon. It was just a sensation he had, even though he didn't like the other Team Crisis members that much, he just couldn't control the urge inside of him to steal things that were valuable.

Personality: Yaki is unusually nice. He is very merciful when it comes to destroying a gym or the gym leader. Always happy to help, Yaki always emits himself as a helpful comrade to all. His main personality "flaw", if you may, is his ignorance. It isn't very serious and sometimes can be helpful to him or others. It is almost inevitable for him to disobey orders. Yaki is also known to be cunning. He is able to seduce almost any woman and persuade any man to go by his will. He uses this skill to get what he wants whenever he wants it, or sometimes for gathering information on more gyms. You can call Yaki somewhat conceited. He always thinks he's better than everyone and will always try to challenge them. This is probably where his ignorance comes from. Sometimes Yaki is alone because none of the other Team Crisis members really wants to be around him. Because of this situation, he is always trying to do his best to get attention from the higher ranking members. Pertaining to his Pokemon, Yaki would do anything to protect them; even give his own life. Mainly because those are his only true friends. Society won't accept him because he's part of Team Crisis and most of Team Crisis won't accept him because of his merciful attitude; the only thing that pushes him to stay in the violent team is the dream of ruling the world. It probably doesn't match his personality but it's a long story and most people doesn't understand it but it's why Yaki is the way he is today. (sorry it's a bit choppy at the end, I was trying to rush because I have to go somewhere.)

Other Info: A lot of the other Team Crisis members look down on Yak because of his kind nature but he continues to stay with the organization.

Starter Pokemon: Canon, Dratini (shiny); male - Kin, Nidoran; male

Rp Sample: (It's from another RP. I hope that's okay.) ^^

It was a moist and sunny morning when Car's adventure was about to begin. It started with the packing of a few bags, courtesy of his mom, and catching a bus to Pallet Town. Car closely held on tight to the dark bluish colored egg. It had a smooth feeling and Car constantly rubbed it.

As Car was guided onto the bus by the little Azurill, named Path, his parents called out, "Bye sweetie. Have fun on your little adventure!" Car was going to get to be like all the other kids, go out on an adventure and catch different Pokemon; battle them and become the best trainer in the world. But...that was only everyone's dream. It was difficult for that one scenario of many to come true.

Path led Car to a seat close to the front door of the long blue and red bus. By feeling the seats and other parts of the bus, Car was able to distinguish it's appearance and texture. The seats were a hard leather and felt worn out. It was a sign that many people sat in that same seat. Car felt up and down a solid wall next to him. It was the buses metallic frame. He moved his hand up and felt a cold hard surface. It was the window. The bus had a cool breeze flowing through it, Must have an air condition or one of the windows is down. Car thought inquisitively.

The ride was long and bumpy. Every few seconds Car hopped up from the large lumps and almost dropped the egg but he held on tight to the slippery object. Path constantly cried out at the bumping motion of the bus. "Wow, this bus is horrible. It keeps bouncing up and down." Path said as he sighed. He then jumped up on Car's shoulder to look out the window. The setting flew past the bus, or at least the other way around. The large vehicle moved swiftly.

Soon, after an hour or so, a bell rang and it was a sign that they were at Pallet Town. Many other bells had rung before, each distinguished based by the stop. Path told Car to wait until he gave him the order to go. He tried to wait until everyone was off the bus so it wouldn't be such a large hassle for Car to get off. "Okay, it's all clear. Just follow my voice, kay?" The little blue ball stated, hopping off the leather bus seat. "Okay come this way and turn 90 degrees right. Then just walk straight and stop when I say stop." Car nodded and smiled a bit. He always got a kick at how weird Path's voice sounded. It was very high-pitched and didn't even sound like a human talking. It was obvious that the voice was from a small Pokemon. Car walked forward and suddenly stopped when Path screamed stop. Now turn 90 degrees right again and take small steps, their are some stairs to go down." Path explained. Car already knew how to get down the steps, he had a lot of training when he was at the doctors office.

"Finally!" Car exclaimed, smiling and smelling the calm fragrance in the air. "What does it look like Path?" Car asked, anxious to see the scenery he was present in. Path looked at him with a sad face. He felt a terrible feeling inside whenever he thought about how much Car was missing. He tried to explain without exaggerating the true effects of the area. It was far too beautiful for Path to explain in true details. He said it wasn't much of a place. Just a few trees in random places; opposed to Path's story, there was large oak trees that lined up the center of the streets. The houses were nicely built and had a clean landscaping. There was a large hill that led up to a huge building. It was surrounded by a raw iron fence and inside was where Pokemon grazed at and lived happily. To the south of the urban-like town was a nice view of the ocean. There was also people getting off a ferry at a dock in that direction as well. Car couldn't even come close to imagining the real detail of his surroundings, he could only go by what Path told him.

Car smiled brightly, "Okay, so guide me to Prof. Oak's lab Path!" He said, clutching tightly to the egg that still rested in his arms. He couldn't wait to really start his journey. It was something he always wanted to do as a young boy but couldn't because his parents thought he wasn't capable of going alone on a journey when he can't see anything. But that's where Path came in. Path was one of Car's only companion, one that would never leave him. He was very thankful to have him.

    Name: Taro Zenbu
    Age: 12
    Gender: Male
    Trainer type: Regular Trainer
Appearance: Taro has light colored skin, short, blond hair, and cheasnut colored eyes. Dispite his love for food, he is surprisingly thin, and stands at about 4'11. His normal attire consists of a white T-shirt with a red stripe crossing diagonally from the right side of his body, and a pair of blue Jeans. On his head he wears a red beanie with a small pokeball logo embroidered on the front, and around his wrist he wears a black watch-like item, a prototype of the famed Poke'Gear (Without phone functionality, as technology hasn't advanced that far yet)
History: Taro is the son of the aspiring entrepreneur who would one day come to invent the Poke'Gear, which would take the Jhoto region by storm. However, at the moment it still is in developmental phases, and would not be widely produced until several years into the future (The one around Taro's wrist is merely a prototype.)

With Taro's dad needing to travel all over the world to sell his product, the young boy has been to many places, and seen many sights. It seemed his family was never rooted to one place. While traveling around, Taro had the chance to taste the food from places all over the world, and soon enough, a love for the culinary arts. Once he had figured out how to, he became somewhat of an aspiring cook, taking recipes from all over the world, and even coming up with some of his own.

One day, while cooking hamburgers for his family using their outside grill, Taro felt a set of eyes watching him. Looking behind him, it turned out to be a Munchlax. Now, most people would dismiss this as a pokemon looking to get some free food, and shoo the creature away, but Taro knew better. The look in the pokemon's eyes was not one of begging or hunger, it was more... curiosity. Leaving the Munchlax be, he returned to his cooking. Whenever he went outside from then on, he would notice the Munchlax was always there, eager to watch him. At one point, he even left some of the food on their backyard picknick table on perpose, and left for a few minuites. When he came back, all of it was still there. It was as if the Munchlax knew that this was their food, and not his.

The time came for Taro's family to move once again, due to his fathers marketing needs. While cooking their dinner on their last night at the current house, he noticed the Munchlax, whom he had taken to calling Kiga, or 'hunger' once again watching him. Knowing he would be leaving the following morning, Taro offered the pokemon a chance to come along with him, which the pokemon gladly accepted. His parents had no problem with it, as long as he had a pokeball for the pokemon should it get out of hand. However, Kiga never did. Taro tended to keep him outside of his pokeball, and he became some type of a family pet. As usual, Kiga would always observe Taro as he cooked meals, and now that he was part of the family, was able to partake in eating them too.

While wandering around town one day, Taro discovered the sport of "Pokemon Battling" At first he was a bit put off by the notion of pokemon fighting each other for human amusement, but he soon saw the pokemon thought it was all in good fun as well, and slowly began to partake in these "Battles." As it turned out, He and Kiga were quite good, defeating most of their opponents, and coming very close to beating others who had advantages such as fighting-type pokemon on their side. Taro and Kiga had true potential...
    Personality:
Taro is the kind and generous type of person. As stated above, he loves food and cooking it, and if he is ever able to pay someone back somehow, it usually is by making them a meal. He loves seeing people enjoying the food he makes. He is very accepting of other peoples feelings and views, and it is very hard to pick a fight with him. During battle, Taro has a great deal of determination and trust in his pokemon, and dosn't tend to lose his cool in tough situations. Very sportsmanlike, he never complains about losing a battle. In the end, the point is to have fun, not to win (Though winning is a very nice consolation.)
Other info: Taro's Poke'Gear has all the functionality you would see in the G/S/C games (Map, Radio, Watch) except the Phone function.

Also, If you are going to be controlling the pokemon we catch, do we get a say in what we encounter, or is it all decided by you? And 12 seems a bit young for a person to be running a gym... I always imagine leaders in their teens and above. But whatever, ill make it work.

you can control what you will encounter, but i will decide if you catch it :]

AAfter Jasper and Mav went their separate ways, Ashley sat at the table for some time, thinking about the seemingly impossible task ahead. Jasper wants to leave Aiden out of the basement thing, but I don't think he will. He told me that he was going whether I was or not. She rubbed her temples in frustration and sighed. Why does everyone have to make things so difficult? "Hey kid! It's curfew time so get outta here," a guy from the kitchen staff yelled at her from the doorway of the kitchen, waving a spoon in his hand. "Oops! Sorry I forgot," she called back, quickly standing up and walking back toward her room. Changing her mind, she detoured to the basement door and stood there, listening and planning a strategy. A gust of air blew from under the door, causing Ashley to retreat from the steam that followed. Hearing a scream, she crept back up to the door and slowly reached out to open the door, her hand trembling. When her hand had almost touched the doornob, she realized what she was doing and jerked her hand back. Hurrying to the dormatory, she chided herself for being so foolish. What was I thinking? I probably wouldn't last two minutes down there without any help. Well, now I know for sure that there are people down there that need help. Taking a quick shower in a stall especially made for fire types that used some strange liquid that didn't extinguish fires, she went to her room, changed her clothes and tumbled into her bed.

The next morning, after dressing, she hurried down to the dining area for breakfast because she overslept a bit. Stopping in her tracks, she heard a huge commotion coming from the cafeteria. What now? Ever time I turn around something happens around here.... Breaking into a run, she gasped when she saw Jasper on the ground bleeding badly and Marcus lying on the ground several feet away with his wings covering his head. Rowan, that bully!! I have to stop this! I just have to! She glared at the tyranitar hybrid as he menacingly walked toward the Pigeot hybrid, not even caring if he didn't fight back. Feeling her Flareon side almost entirely taking over, she used Quick Attack to get close to Rowan and his gang. She snarled at the bully, pinning her ears flat on her head, and raising her body temperature several degrees as she prepared to defend herself. The air around her shimmered like on a hot summer day and flames danced across her dark eyes. Remembering her type disadvantage and noticing how much bigger Rowan was than her almost made her back down, but she knew that she'd never forgive herself if she did. Man... the guys gotta be at least fourteen inches taller than me!Maybe if I give Marcus some breathing room, we can beat them together. It'd be nice if Kite helped but Mister Attitude looks like he has other ideas. Could sure use Mav's water attacks.... "Rowan!" she shouted, a fierce growl in her voice. "Leave them alone!" Glancing at her, Rowan scoffed and laughed, "Stay outta this foxy. Look boys, the little fire fox thinks she's gonna stop us." He, Bruce, and Sarge all laughed at her with bystanders nervously joining in, making her glare at them even more with increasing anger, indignance, and disgust.

Turning his back on her and walking closer to Marcus, she let loose a flame thrower that she knew probably wouldn't hurt him much, but she needed to get his attention away from Marcus. The Flame Thrower hit him with full force, nearly knocking him off his feet. If he'd weighed any less, he probably would've been thrown to the ground. "That's it!" he snarled angily, "I was gonna let you off 'cause you're a girl but nobody attacks Rowan without gettin' a poundin'" He stalked toward Ashley, smiling with sinister pleasure. Ok.... Let's see how smart these jokers are... Double Team! Shining with a white glow, she five clones materilized around her in a semi-circle. She had to stop herself from looking at the clones in surprise because five was a new personal best for her. At first, Bruce and Sarge gaped at the illustions, unable to decide who to attack, but Rowan jerked them into action with, "Come on you idiots! Hit one of them!" With Sarge attacking a clone on the right with Dragon Breath, Bruce charged at the one on the far left with a Dragon Claw but both stopped, confused, when they disappeared. Whew... Bruce almost hit me! Taking advantage of the hesitation, she scored a knockout on Bruce with an Iron Tail to the skull. Using Quick Attack to give herself some more room and to dodge any oncoming attack, she stopped several feet away from where she was, her feet sliding on the floor.

Before she could make another move, huge, strong hands clamped around her from behind, lifting her into the air. I guess one of Rowan's goons was late for breakfast. She kicked and clawed at the Rhydon hybrid, but he only laughed and squeezed harder, making it almost impossible for her to breathe. Smoke poured from her mouth and nose as she struggled or at least that's what she thought it was. What a minute… That's not smoke… It's smog. How could I have forgotten? She smiled grimly as the purple gas gave her an idea. Not like it can stop all of them but here I go… Taking as deep a breath as she could with the suffocating grip around her, she aimed a Smog attack toward the advancing Rowan and Sarge. Although Rowan simply coughed and backed away, waiting for the air to clear, but Sarge fell to the ground, poisoned. Lucky, I guess… The arms gripped even harder around her middle until she expected to feel her ribs breaking at any moment. Unable to breath anymore, spots swirled around in Ashley's vision and the room began to spin. Well...it...was…a good… fight while… it… lasted.

    Pokemon Type: Normal
    Starter Pokemon: Munchlax (Kiga)

    EDIT: Alright, my sign-up

    Name: Victor

    Age: 12

    Gender: Male

    Trainer type: Regular Trainer

Appearance: Victor is about average height for his age, but you definatly can't say he has an average build. To put it bluntly, this kid is ripped. He has a perfect six-pack and huge biceps and triceps. His legs, following suit with the rest of his body, are perfectly toned.

He has very short hair. The kind that you would think he just took a razor to it. His eyes are a simple slate grey tone, which usually show no expression. Down his right arm is a 8 inch long gash, caused from an attack by a Combusken.

Casually, he is always seen wearing a muscle shirt and either worn out denim jeans or a pair of slick basketball shotrts. When the weather is a bit chilly, he wears a jacket featuring his favorite team, The Donphans,[kind of a play on Alabama, Crimson Tide, in college football, which is my favorite team xD] along with matching sweatpants. To those fancy doo's he usually wears a brown stiped balzer with matching pants.

History: Victor was raised into one of the strictest families you would find. His father thought that muscles made the man, so Victor was forced to play any and every competitive sport there was. His mother was very hard on him. His forced daily schedule, made by his mother, was: Get up, Make bed, Get Dressed, Brush Teeth, Report outside for the daily chores. Victor hated this work, but he knew if he disobeyed his punishment would be severe.

Along with his parents being hard on him, he was hard on himself. He would train till he fainted, then train some more. But one day, he took it to far. He found a wild Combusken and started to pester it, thinking it would be a worthwile opponent. The Combusken became enraged and easily overpowered him. It clawed him down his arm, creating the scar he has today. Victor was pinned down by the Combusken; and just when he thought all was lost, a wild Machop saved his life by knocking the Combusken into a nearby river.

Victor thanked the Machop and headed home. But what he didn't know, was that the Machop was following him. He walked inside, still unknowing and heard his mother scream, "What is that atroucious thing?!". His mother always had a hate for pokemon. Victor turned around and noticed the Machop holding onto his leg for dear life. Victor grabbed the Machop and explained the situation and begged to keep it. Reluctantly, his mother agreed.

Victor and Machop trained day after day. The proved to be the toughest fighters around; nobody that has challenged them has beaten them. Victor heard of the "Gym" rumours and decided to take up the chance as a Fighting Gym Leader.

Personality: Victor has a boastfull, confident adittude. The fact that he has never lost anything doesn't help with that very much. And when he beats you he will show his boastfull side by rubbing it in your face for forever and a day. He also has a somewhat mean demeanor. That might be because of his resentment to most people. Other than those not-so-admireable traits, he has some good qualities towards him.

thanks to his parents strictness, he is very kind and mannerfull toward his elders and authority figures. He has a perfect adittude in school; and to most everybody's suprise, has never gotten into a fist-fight.

    Pokemon Type: Fighting.

    Starter Pokemon: Machop.

    *From "The Second Coming"*

The sunlight shone throughout the window and onto Dom's face. His appearace has changed since the Everyblast. He has a slight stubble around his chin and upper lip. The light that was shining in his eye made him stir in his bed. He yanked the covers above his head in a desperate attempt to get back to sleep.

In the three years that passed Dom had ammased a good sum of money from Gym battles and mini-tourneys. He used that money to revamp his house in Lavender Town. It was now a nice, quiet, two-story house on the outskirts of town.

Dom's pokemon were all downstairs. Farfetch'd was eating its breakfast. Machamp, Poliwrath and Ursaring were in the Training Room. Gengar and Marowak were watching TV. And Dragonite and Arcanine were outside, enjoying the fresh air.

After a few moments under the covers, Dom got out of bed and stretched. He headed downstairs and poured himself a bowl of cereal. He patted Farfetch'd on the head and headed into the living room.

Gengar and Marowak were watching their usual Staurday morning cartoons. That is, until Dom changed it to the news. the two yelled at Dom then slumped off outside with Dragonite and Arcanine.

"Heh, there just like kids.." Dom said to himself as he sipped his coffee. He sat back and ate his cereal, until something caught his eye.

It was a reporter on the news, they were mentioning something about a Grand Pokemon Tourney. "This Tourney is available to anyone and everyone that has gained at least 8 Gym Badges from any reigon!" The reporter said.

Dom changed his gaze form the TV to a plaque on his mantle. It was a luxurious clear box, with 8 small broache-like objects resting inside. Those were his 8 Gym badges.

Dom walked over to the plaque and thought to himself for a moment or two. Man, it's been so long since I've won these badges. Well, looks like there finnaly going to good use!

He removed the badges and pinned them into his inner jacket. He headed into the kitchen and got Farfetch'd, then to the Training Room to get Machamp, Ursaring and Poliwrath.

With those 4 he headed outside to get his other 4 pokemon. "Well guys, i can only take 6 of you with me. It was hard for me to choose, but Marowak and Ursaring, you guys have to stay here with my Grandparents. Ok?" Dom said.

The two nodded and headed off into town, towards Dom's Grandparent's house.

    "Well guys, lets shove off!"

Any paragraph limitations? Like a 3-4 para. minimum for opening post or something? Or can it just be one paragraph/follows PC's RP rules?

  • try to mke the opening as detailed as possible. paint a picture with your words. use your five senses in everywhere you can.

ok guys, i figure i can go ahead and start the prolouge. Also, it would be great if you guy's made trainer cards for your character.
TEAM CRISIS WILL GET THERE OWN PROLOUGE LATER! So you guys can just sit back for now :]
    Prolouge: The Journey to Pallet.
    Things you must do:
Make a post in which you arrive in Pallet Town.
Head to Oak's Lab for information on the Gym's.

    Here is mine:

It was early morning in the streets of Saffron. The air had a crisp, sweet smell to it. The strees were lit from the glow of lights, and the slowly rising sun. Victor was up and running his usual morning excersize around the city. He and his Machop got up at 6:00 every morning to train.

It was now 8:30. The sun had risen and the city glew with it's beauty. Victor took a quick break from his running and headed into a Poke'mon Center. He got a quick swig of cool refreshing water from the water fountain while his Machop headed over to Nurse Joy.

"Why hey there! How's my favorite little Machop?" Nurse Joy said playfully to the Pokemon. She patted the muscular Pokemon and waited for Victor to come over. He eventually walked over after a few more gulps of water.

"I see you're training hard as always, Victor!" Nurse Joy said with a smile.

"Yup, gotta be training hard if i want that Gym Leader spot!" Victor said, pumping his fist in the air.

"Oh, you mean this?" Nurse Joy said, handing him a flyer.

    It read:

Think you've got the skills to become the best of the best?

Well have we got the challenge for you! The best trainers in the region are recruiting for "Gym Leaders"! These Gym leaders will specify in ONE type of pokemon and challenge anyone who take them on!

For more information, see Proffesor Oak by Monday!

Victor eyed the paper and replied to Nurse Joy. "Yup, this is what im working at."

"Well, have you visited Professor Oak yet? Today is Monday after all." She said to Victor.

"Are you serious!? TODAY is Monday?!" Oh geeze, I gotta go! See ya Nurse Joy!" Victor said, running out of the Pokemon Center.

Lucky for him, he had his own method of transportion to get to Pallet Town. His neighbor, Ronald, owned a Pidgeot. He would always lend it to people who needed to travel places.

Victor ran to Ronald's house and retreived the bird Pokemon. He hopped aboard the majestic bird and set sail for Pallet.

The flight there was beautiful. Victor caught an arial veiw of many bustling cities, like Celedon and Viridian. They finally landed in the quiet town caled Pallet. Victor instructed Pidgeot to fly back to Ronald.

"So this is Pallet Town.." Victor said to himself. It was quiet, and pure.

It took Victor a while to find Proffesor Oak's lab, but he made it there and headed inside.

"Umm, Proffesor Oak? I'm hear for information on the Gym's!" He said calmly.

"Oh yes! Sit, sit! You will wait for the others that are coming" The Proffesor instructed.

Victor obeyed and sat down in a comfy chair near the entrance and waited for the other trainers.

  • An eerie fog shrouded the sad town in darkness. It was always like this when Kit woke up. It started off chilly and windy, and later, it was still very chilly and windy. But the nights were always the worst. Fortunately, living in Lavender Town for ages helps boost stamina, as Kit always thought. Her Glaceon stood beside her, waiting for her to say the word.

The Glaceon was given to Kit by someone foreign who just happened to pass by her. He spoke in another language, and Kit nodded at every sentence, not knowing whatsoever what he was asking. Next thing she knew, she had a Glaceon. The guy spoke again, and Kit learned its name was Jeanne. She then figured he spoke French.

"Jeanne, today's the day. We have to get down to Oak's in Pallet Town so we can try and get recruited as gym leaders!" The Glaceon smiled, and a blue aura suddenly shone around it. Kit had seen this aura before; it was a frosty aura, and usually meant Jeanne was happy, ecstatic, anything of that sort.

The two headed down the stairs where Mr. Fuji was. He greeted them well, and let Kit use a Spearow that was abandoned by what was apparently a horrible trainer. The Spearow seemed glad to lend a hand, er, claw, and lifted Kit up high in the sky.

It took a few hours (it would be hard for the Spearow to fly so quickly with a heavy load), but Kit soon arrived in Pallet Town. She couldn't wait to try out becoming a gym leader. She entered the lab, and noticed what seemed to be a waiting room. She decided to wait there for the time being, and let the Spearow go back to Mr. Fuji.

  • Josh had had a revelation about himself that day, as he proceeded to flee from a small group of angry buys with shiny horns upon their head. Though he was as confident as anything, he was also a bit scaredy cat. And so was Lux, his Charmander, who followed in his master's cowardly footsteps. Josh didn't expect anything more, as Lux was bought at a pet store by some of his classmates when they saw the slump he was in at losing Spearow (RIP). Josh had decided to train the little fellow to be as a real battling Pokémon was.

That was, though, if either of them could overcome their fear and make their way out of the twisty Viridian Forest.

"This isn't gonna work, buddy," Josh panted, looking over at the orange lizard. Lux nodded, glancing away from his master's eyes. The poor thing must be feeling weak and useless, Josh recognised. He sighed and sat down at the base of a large tree. Lux did likewise, making sure to keep his burning tail off the leaf litter.

Minutes passed as Josh tried to figure out what to do, Lux just feeling ashamed of himself. No sudden inspiration blew into his mind, and no great ideas presented themselves. The brunet stood up and stretched. "We have to keep walking," Josh sighed, resigned. The bipedal lizard too got up, and walked ahead of Josh with new determination. Josh smiled at the Charmander- Looks like he was already rubbing of on the fire-type!

Many minutes and more aimless wandering later, they were no better off than they had been before. Lux still proudly walked ahead, slashing at any bug Pokémon he felt he could take on. Josh merely stared at his feet, willing them to find the exit soon.

"Char!" a high voice called. Josh's head snapped up. It was Lux! He was curled into a little orange ball, harmlessly batting a yellow bug with a large horn on its head with his tail. Josh gulped. It was one of the species that had ganged up on the two earlier on. The bug stared at Lux quizzically.

"I think we should batt-" Before Josh could finish he was rudely interrupted by a loud yell.

"HEY! Don't you DARE hurt my Nino!" A boy a few years younger than Josh launched out a tree and landed perfectly between the bug and Lux. Josh could feel the anger radiating off the boy's gaze. He wore only a dirty singlet and khaki shorts, and a rat-chewed straw hat to keep the sun off his pale face. "Well?" the boy snapped. "Why were you attacking poor little Nino?"

"Well, I didn't know it was yours," Josh replied tautly. "It could've been one of the faceless millions in this forest!"

"You don't respect the bugs?!" the boy shrieked, incredulous. "Then you don't deserve to be in this forest! OUT OUT OUT!" The bug-obsessed boy literally pushed him with one hand and dragged Lux by the tail with the other and both were too stunned to do anything about it. Josh just hoped that the boy was taking him to the Viridian-side exit.

With a final shove and tug, both boy and Pokémon burst into the sunlight. Josh squinted in the brightness. Was it really that dark in the forest? "AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU'VE LEARNT PROPER RESPECT FOR THE NOBLE WEEDLE AND THE VALIANT CATERPIE!" And with that, Josh heard hurried footsteps depart.

"Well, that's that," Josh stated, helping his Pokémon to his feet. Lux stayed curled in his little ball. The brunet sighed. "It's okay, you did great. If Bugman didn't come to rescue his civilians, we would've burnt that stupid little worm to ashes." Lux uncurled slightly and gazed at his master with one shiny green eye. "I mean it," Josh assured. The Charmander fully uncurled, and smiled up at Josh, Josh returning the favour. He broke eye contact suddenly.

"This place seems unfamiliar…" Josh mused, taking in his surroundings. He suddenly grinned. "Looks like we made it!" he cheered, grabbing Lux and whirling him around his head. "Now all that's left is to get past Viridian City and get to Pallet Town!" Lux suddenly froze in his grip, muscles tightening up. "Don't worry, there's a straight road right to Route One so we don't have to wander again!" And with this, Lux was celebrating again.

What Josh said was true: There was a large road going directly from the exit of Route Two to the entrance of Route One, or whatever way you came from. The people in Viridian were interesting to watch, as they had slightly different manners and clothing to those in Pewter. Only a few carried around Pokémon, and even then the majority were just Pidgey resting on their trainer's shoulders. It was a nice walk, if uneventful.

"BIKES FOR RENT~!" Josh heard this cry just as he went to traverse across Route One. Hello, bikes. A bike could certainly be useful. He set off to find the yelling person, Lux following his trainer, confused as to why his master was not making his way over to Professor Oak's lab. A trendy-looking young man was the source of the hollering, as he pressured two young women into taking a tandem bike for a spin.

"'Cuse me, mister, but can I rent a mountain bike?" Josh asked, tapping the man on the back. The man whirled around. He had a plastic grin stuck to his young face, which Josh found rather frightening.

"Certainly!" the man boomed, steering the boy over to a chunky red model. "This is the newest thing I've got! My Dad over in Cerulean makes the bikes and sells them, and he's a FREAKING GENIUS! My little brother designed this here one, and he's EVEN MORE OF A GENIUS! You should definitely take this one, I can SO see you riding it! All I need is five thousand PokéYen!"

"Five thousand?" Thankfully, his parents were one the richer side of the spectrum and spared Josh ten thousand PokéYen. Grumbling, he dug the notes out of his wallet and handed it over to the man. Geez, one day and already he had spent half his funds…

"Thank you!" the man chimed and left Josh to hassle more passers-by.

Josh turned to Lux. "Looks like you're gonna have to go into your Pokéball now," he said, holding up the mentioned sphere. The Charmander sighed, touched his nose to the ball and disappeared in a red flash. Josh mounted the flashy bike and pedalled away.

Despite the cost, Josh figured it was a good buy as the journey to Pallet was over in a flash. The few Pokémon he saw scuttled away from the bike, seemingly frightened, and the terrain had been so much easier to navigate on a bike. So, only twenty minutes later, he was standing at the entrance to Professor Oak's lab. Resting the bike against the wall, he pushed the door open.

He was in what looked like a lobby, dotted with comfortable chairs. Only a boy his age and a girl somewhat older were there. On an impulse, he sat next to the boy. "Hi," he grinned, sticking out a hand. "I'm Joshua O'Dwyer. What about you?"

OOC: Just wondering… how long ago is this compared to normal canon?

  • Name: Ashley Jackson
    Age: 11
    Gender: Female
    Trainer type: Regular Trainer
Appearance: Ashley is relatively thin at a height of 4'5" and a weight of 83 lbs. She has emerald green eyes, black, shoulder-length hair, and nicely tanned skin from spending most of her time outside. For clothes, she wears a dark blue shirt with red flowers on it, blue jean shorts, and a pair of blue sneakers. Also she has a necklace with a Celebi pendant that her mom gave to her.
History: Almost her whole life, Ashley has lived near the ocean. She knows its moods almost as well as she knows herself and her family. Just after her ninth birthday, her parents returned from visiting Fuchsia City, saying that they had a surprise for her. When they had almost reached the city, they found an injured Totodile on the side of the road and rushed it to the Pokecenter. After it was healed, they decided to bring it home and give it to Ashley because nobody seemed to own the pokemon, at least not any more.

Ashley and Surge were always together and became very close. After two years together, they even sometimes knew what each other were thinking without words. A few months after her eleventh birthday, Ashley decided to go on a journey with Surge to find out about this new think called 'pokemon battling' that she'd heard about.
Personality: Adventurous and exuberant, Ashley has a tendency to jump into things without thinking. Although she is very loyal to her friends, she doesn't feel like she can't make a move without them and will often explore places and other things with only her pokemon with her, as long as she knows where her friends are. Because of her warm and friendly nature, she easily makes friends, human or pokemon. She can't stand to see someone hurt or mistreated and will often jump in and help. Also she has a knack for getting into or finding trouble, but she has an equally strong knack for getting right back out of trouble. Although she rarely backs down from a fight, she tries to show restraint if the person who's picking the fight with her is a friend who's lashing out in anger or hurt for some reason. She only likes to have friendly battles with friends.
Other info: Because of her love for the ocean and water pokemon, she has become somewhat of an amateur free-diver (the practice of breath-holding underwater diving. Includes snorkeling, etc.) and can hold her breath for about four and a half minutes. She usually keeps Surge and sometimes one other pokemon out of their pokeballs at once because she likes their company.

After Jasper and Mav went their separate ways, Ashley sat at the table for some time, thinking about the seemingly impossible task ahead.

After what had seemed like an age of walking in an awkward silence, Simon and Jade finally reached Kagari City. Looking around blearily, they rubbed their eyes, tired from the long journey. Jade turned to SImon and smiled.
"This is where we split up, again," she said quietly, "I want to head back to the Mystifying Forest ti try and catch a Budew." Simon grinned, memories of a Budew he had fought for coming to mind.
"Good luck," He said, smiling broadly, "I think you're going to need it!" After exchanging good byes, the two friends parted, Jade turning back to the route they had just travelled, and Simon heading for the local Pokemon centre.
"Nurse Joy?" he called, walking into the centre, "Can you take care of my Pokemon overnight?" The red-headed nurse smiled and took the proferred pokeballs, before offering SImon a room key. He gratefully accepted, and stumbled down the hall and into his room, falling asleep instantly.

Waking up late, Simon collected his Pokemon from Nurse joy, before heading outside and releasing his Cascoon, Pidgey and Pikachu for some training in preparation for their gym battle.
"Okay! Cascoon, lets try out that new harden!" Simon called, and cascoon immediatelycurled itself into a ball. That is, it curled itself into a slightly rounder ball, compared to what it already was.
"Now, Pidgey, try and get past its defenses with tackle!" Pidgey charged at the small cocoon with tremendous speed, but simply glanced off. Simon was impressed, though,
"That was a great tackle, Pidgey!" Simon called to the plump bird, now hovering in midair. "And that was some pretty tough defense, Cascoon!" Then, turning to Pikachu, he said, "Now, try out your growl on me!" Pikachu turned to Simon, and gave him the meanest, scariest growl that could come from a creature as cute as a pikachu. Which was pretty terrifying. Once Simon had stopped shaking enough to talk, he returned his Pokmon, and headed to the gym.

Slowly, he pushed open the creaking door, and wandered in. Suddenly, without warning, huge lights flashed on, illuminating the darkness and revealing a battlefield. Standing at the far end was the gym leader.
"So you think you can beat me?" he called toSimon in a mocking voice, "My name is Natsuko, and I'm about to take you down!" Then, she stopped and smiled. "Okay, I'll drop the tough talk now. But seriously, you don't look all that confident. I bet you havenn't even been a trainer for a day yet." Simon blushed furiously, deciding not to mention that he had in fact been a trainer for three days now. Still grinning arrogantly, she tossed a Pokeball, shouting "Come on roselia, lets get this over with quickly!" A Pokemon resembling a living plant emerged, and Simon immediately reached for his pokedex, before realising that scanning this Roselia would only make him look even more like a newbie. Instead, he reached for his pokeballs and silently released his cascoon. Cascoon was slightly less reserved however, and started pumping its spikes like arms. Simon turned from pink to crimson, then gasped as he looked at cascoon. For Cascoon had started to glow, and Simon knew what that light meant...

  • It was the night before the big day. Jake was excited to arrive into Kanto, as he had never seen anything outside of Hoenn before. He knew something big was going down, and hopefully it would do him some good. He stepped out onto the ship's deck, and look over the railing. He looked out, and a dim glow from the lights of Kanto were showing. He knew it was his time for arrival. He heard the place he would be awaiting to was Cinnabar Island, a small island based off a volcano. He knew that he would spend the night in a small motel, then take a personal boat into Pallet Town, where he would meet Proffessor Oak, the starter of whatever was about to happen.

When he pulled into port, it was round midnight. The dim streetlights were growing darker, the noise from what seemed like a busy little town seemed to disappear, and the streets seemed barren. He marched over to his motel, checked in, and prepared for what would happen tomorrow. Honestly, he was not informed about anything that he was about to experience, but he hoped for the best and expected the best. He went into his room, lied down on his bed, and fell asleep instantly from the long trip to his destination.

The sun rose quickly over the horizon the next morning, which painted to sky all shades of reds, oranges, and yellows. It appeared the sky was a canvas, and the sun was the artist's palette (OoC: Did you like that imagery? :D). He knew what was to come, and he couldn't be more eager or more frightened. Jake was not a big fan of encountering the unknown, but he knew it had to be done. He got ready for the day normally, wearing his black sweatshirt and his khaki cargo shorts, and walked out into the motel lobby. He was hoping for a continental breakfast, but that came to no avail. He thought, "Yeah, this wasn't the most upscale of places anyways, it WAS free after all."

As he walked to the docks, a small motor boat was in place for him, for the short trip up the ocean to Pallet Town. The driver signaled him over, placed him at the back of the boat, and drove him off. The further Jake traveled, the more nervous he became. The moment he could see the shore, he leaned over the side of the boat, and majestically vomited over the side of the boat.

They pulled up, with Oak's lab in sight, and Jake exited to boat apprehensively. "Here we go..."
