Loki nodded in response to Emily's counter-question "Yeah..." he replied "I'm afraid I-"
"Emily! Jay!" the shout ran through the jungle like the rumbling of thunder as Trish came into view, riding the now exhausted Tala with a completely hyped Houndoom in front.
"Absooo!" Absol cried out happily, wagging his tail happily and running over to the Houndoom who responded with equal enthusiaism, the two soon running around uncontrollably and chasing each other.
"Oh bugger..." Loki muttered, noticing that the girl was clearly agitated already
"Shell-goooon." Shellgon stated with a mixture of fear and awe in her voice.
"For once I'm inclined to agree with you Shellgon." her trainer replied weakly, as Trish reached the group.
"Some friends you are!" Trish thundered at Jay and Emily, seemingly oblivious to the ohter people's presence "I go for a short nap, assured that you would wake me up if something happens! And what do I find when I do wake up?! An empty yacht that's what! Why I have a good mind to-" the girl paused in mid-sentence, suddenly noticing Loki's presence, her eyes narrowing dangerously.
"Loki..." she hissed, glaring at the soon-to-be victim of her next verbal assault, Tala shyly walking up to the boy and pushing her body next to his to brace him a bit "Loki Windemere! Leaving home with nothing more than a goodbye note! Room empty! Chores left undone! Always out of the calling area! Do you have any idea of how worried we have been you ungrateful person?!" her voice had now reached such a high pitch that it was almost painful to listen to and she was using the simple term 'ungrateful' in a manner which would call for a *Beep* on any family-oriented broadcast.
"Gee..didn't know you cared." Loki replied in an attempt of sarcasm, knowing that the only way to get rid of Trish's rage was to make her went all of it.
The rewarded his cheekiness with a stinging slap that almost caused Loki to stagger, soon followe by a seemingly endless spree of insults which didn't cease until more or less every part of Loki's being had been declared completely and utterly worthless in every possible way, twice over. Trish calmed down a bit, finally stopping to breathe for a while.
"Nice to see you too sis." Loki replied weakly, running a hand through Tala's fur.
