A New Team

As always, no Smogon tiers/rules, and not on Showdown.
I got really bored of my old team, so I decided just to make a new one to wreak havoc. I got 2 mons but don't know where to go from there.

    Raikou @ Choice Specs
    Modest
    252 SPATK, 252 SPE
    Pressure
    - Thunderbolt
    - Volt Switch
    - Extrasensory
    - Shadow Ball
I'll be honest. I just wanted an Electric sweeper. But, with high SPATK and SPE, good SPDEF, access to Volt Switch and only one weakness, I figure it'll make a good pivot.

    Salamence @ Salamencite
    Intimidate
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH THIS THING. It's a good thìng for Raikou to Volt Switch to if I predict a Ground move, and makes up for Raikou's lower ATK and DEF.
I refuse to use Mega Rayquaza. Cheapest shit ever.

I'm thinking of Walls or Magic Bouncers too.

    Rayquaza @ Life Orb
    Ability: Air Lock
    EVs: 252 Atk / 40 SpA / 216 Spe
    Naive Nature
    - Draco Meteor
    - Earthquake
    - Dragon Ascent
    - Extreme Speed

Have fun. Just don't mega evolve it. Alternatively, you can use Arceus-Dragon if you are still against Mega Rayquaza.

    Espeon @ Light Clay
    Ability: Magic Bounce
    EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 32 SpA / 12 SpD
    Bold Nature
    - Wish
    - Reflect
    - Light Screen
    - Psyshock

Well, if you insist on using Salamence, you should use the premier wallbreaking set:

    Salamence @ Salamencite
    Ability: Moxie
    EVs: 132 Atk / 124 SpA / 252 Spe
    Naive Nature
    - Outrage
    - Hyper Voice / Hyper Beam
    - Brick Break
    - Fire Blast

This should beat anything battle spot can throw at you.

Thanks, but wouldn't Intimidate be a more useful ability, for more bulk against physical attackers?

Can people stop trolling this amazing user? Sector I expected better from you.
Also Pls don't use hyper beam mega Mence ;(

You could go for a volt turn team seeing how you are using raikou, I suggest Genesect or some shit. But w/e u can't just ask us to build teams for you, get it like 90% done atleast

Mega Mence makes for a nice Dragon Dancer:

    Salamence @ Salamenceite
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Dragon Dance
    - Roost
    - Double-Edge/Return
    - Earthquake/Refresh

    Salamence @ Salamenceite
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 248 HP / 136 Def / 124 Spe
    Impish Nature
    - Dragon Dance
    - Roost
    - Return
    - Refresh

You also might want something to take Ice hits for Mence, so some Steel type or bulky Water would do for that.

    Arceus-Dragon
Ew. Never use Arceus-Dragon, people. So many better Arceus forms and Dragon types

I have another suggestion if you don't like my Espeon set.

    Xatu @ Flame Orb
    Ability: Magic Bounce
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    - Fly
    - Foul Play
    - U-turn
    - Trick

Now, you might be wondering, how could this set ever be useful? Well, with Trick, you could switch a strong physical attacker's item with your Flame Orb, and then they would have to deal with a burn. This highly lowers their attack, so they can't hit you hard, but you can still Foul Play them for massive damage! Then you have Fly, which in some situations can force a switch, and then U-Turn, so you can switch easier!

I actually really like both of your ideas, especially this Xatu one. Should I consider Whirlwind rather than Fly though, so I can cycle them through entry hazards? I'm toying with having Forretress set up most of them.

    >hyper beam mega mence

    well...yeah...

Mence's best set is DD/Return or Double-Edge/Refresh/Roost. It boosts so easily against so much stuff. You need to pair it with something such as regular Groudon to turn the tables on primal variants, or use mixed Rayquaza with Surf. Also watch out for the rare steels resistant to Double-Edge (Steelceus and Skarm which are way less useful now due to P-Don and Mega Gengar).
