A Question and Introduction!

Hello everyone! I am excited to be a part of this community! A little about myself I am a college student going to school in Idaho. I claim my home to be North Dakota because that's where I graduated high school but because of my dad's job growing up, I'm not really "from" anywhere.

I still love Pokemon and I'm not afraid to say it even as a 21 year-old :P. I still find the games extremely fun even though I don't watch the anime anymore. I favor Ghost and Normal type pokemon so that's pretty much all I use haha. I hope to learn more about you guys as I move around the site :).

Now my question. I have seen these "pokemon signatures" around with the picture of a trainer along with his selection of Pokemon. You can also add your Friend Code on it. THe signature appears to be on a trainer card. Any help on what it is and how to get one would be great. Thanks for reading and I can't wait to get involved! :)

It's perfectly okay to be in your 20s and loving Pokémon! Not to worry, I'm 18 years old here and I love it, so no one is ever too old for Pokémon! :P And like you, I don't watch the anime anymore, but I still love playing the games, and have done so with every generation so far, and I'm going to continue that trend with the upcoming 6th generation as well! ^^ And if you love Ghost types and Normal types, check out our Pokémon Clubs section here! We already have a Ghost type club there, and feel free to make a Normal type club too if you want to! Here at PC, we have lots to do from ROM hacking (which is why a lot of people often join us here) to roleplaying! Whatever you want to do, chances are we probably have it here~ And if you want to make one of those Trainer Cards, here's the website right here that most people here use: *link removed*

Anyways, as a reminder, please be sure to look at the rules here, so that you do not wind up getting into any trouble at all! The last thing we want to see here of new members is them getting into trouble and earning themselves an infraction, but I have my hopes you aren't one of those people! ;)

Finally, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate in asking anyone around here on staff! They are the users with the bold usernames, and they would be more than glad in getting to help you out whenever you may need it!

21 is not old at all to be into Pokemon. I'm a proud fan even at 22 years old and hope it'll stay that way for a long while to come. If people ever ask me if I play Pokemon I wouldn't be shy to admit it.. though I guess I'm a bit lucky since I have friends around my age who like it, too. Normal and ghost types are among some of my favorites so you have quite amazing taste. :) We should have clubs dedicated to those guys in our Pokemon Clubs board, so be sure to check that out! They'd welcome you with open arms there! Not quite sure if the normal type club is open right now since the last one closed due to inactivity (if I remember right), and assuming no one else has claimed the normal club through the grand-master thread, you might be eligible to make one of your own, as Zach said. I'm a club owner and let me say that it is so ridiculously fun. :D;

But yeah, those little trainer cards are adorable, aren't they? I use pokecharms to make them myself. On that note I don't think I've made any for a long while so now might be a good time to get an updated card to save. There are so many cool templates to use and it's a neat little thing to include in your signature.. though I think I'll stick to my 'lil Raichu for now, haha. If you have a YouTube channel or anything you can also use your signature to advertise that.

Hope you're into sweets because I will send you a load of them. :( What are you studying in college? I'm going into my fifth year come late August; since I changed majors a year in I'll need another semester to graduate, but I won't complain since I'm so close. Only a few more credits left! I'm doing design and digital media and it's been quite fun so far. Before I ramble on too much though, I'll just say that I hope you end up sticking around for a long while and enjoy yourself on the forum. We're all friendly so never be scared to contact us or a staff member if you need help. We're always, always here!

Thank you both for the welcome! I am studying International Studies in College and I am loving it! I will be changing my major to Linguistics when I get my associates however. I would love to open up a club on the forums for the Normal type. But it makes me sad that it wasn't that active....I wonder what we could do about that?

Do you favor a certain type Cirno?

Electric types are totally my favorites! I love grass and ghost too, though. Normals have always been really adorable with great movepools so it's hard to pick sometimes. And yeah, looking at the Pokemon Clubs grand-master thread it looks like someone already reserved the normal club, though that reservation expires August 3rd (today). So if he doesn't make it it'll likely be free reign again! Hope to see the club open up soon. :3
