It's in regard to moderator spots/placements. I'd like to know how I can furfill the requirements to be a moderator or how I can achieve that place. Because, let's be honest, I've wanted to be one here ever since I joined.

I don't know if I'll get an infraction for saying that, but I decided to be honest because I view it as being more fruitfull and it shows that you're a lot more mature if you're out in the open about things.

I'm pretty sure the staff will look down on me for saying that though, because it's not really meant to be said as it's seen as bad (am I correct?), but I'd just like some notification from a former or a member of staff that could/would tell me my status and if I have a chance at ever being a moderator.

    Thanks, Azzurra signing out.

I would have liked a more direct answer, since things that were once relevant can change over the course of time.

If you really want to be a Moderator, then the simplest way is to show everyone that you are qualified to be one, more likely follow the rules, helping members and etc, but, it's not only that, but as well as proper manners and attitude towards every member. :)

Simple case: Post in one place and if it ever needs a mod the admins will consider you and a select others and then have you all battle to the death. have a vote or something, I dunno how the mod selection process is finalized.

You could have also checked CQ&F for it's other few "how to become a mod" questions :P

It's been asked several times. I have given my cookie here once, and I'm going to remind you guys every time.

In addition to that, if you really care about how a forum goes and wish to help, you don't chase around modship, you're just being helpful.

You cannot receive an infraction if you are asking how to become a moderator nor receive one by asking to become a moderator. However, if you were to ask to become a moderator odds are, it will lower your chances. Although like said above, if staff realize where you post most in [that section must be in need of a moderator, however] and your posts meet their qualifications, who knows you could get chosen. :D

Though the best thing to do is not desperately want to become one but have fun, being a regular member isn't bad at all and this a pokémon forum. Just enjoy your stay and enjoy what PC has installed for you! Who knows, one day when you least expect it, you might be asked to become one in the section you desire/post in a lot. ;)

Also, no one is going to look down on you for telling people want to be a moderator. Only those jerky, immature ones do. So, don't be afraid to say whats on your mind every now and then. But as Aizuke said, the FAQ can help you with many questions you may have.

There's a reason why I always post in OC and OV ;)

Well, Kaori said what I wanted to say about not getting into trouble for asking to be a mod, but you should be a nice member, not get into much trouble (I'm not sure about infractions...), and just be active. ;)
