3rd Gen a REAL challenge?

Hi, My name is Roboto and im about to start my jour.....wait, no...ive finished my journey MANY times.
Time for a real challenge me thinks.

No hacks, No shark codes, HARD challenge.....what is the worst team i could go through either fire red, leaf green, ruby, sapphire or emmerald with?

obviously this means you cant suggest a pokemon i wont be able to get until after the elite 4.

So please, what would you suggest is the worse team to use?
bare in mind that the pokemon you suggest can be trained to any level, learn any legal move they can learn without hacking, can use any item i find, and can be evolved.

and PLEASE....no wise arse saying magikarp magikarp magikarp magikarp magikark magikarp...becuase i would rule with 6 Gyarados.

I want, and im sure we all want a hard challenge like this.

If you really wanted a challenge, you can always take the Nuzleaf challenge. The first pokemon you see in each area is your only chance of catching a new pokemon (so for instance if you were on Route 2 and saw a Rattata, that is the only pokemon you are allowed to catch [unless it's a duplicate of something you already own, then you get a second chance to another pokemon]). If you're pokemon dies in battle, then you have to release it into the wild never to be used again.

And if you want an even harder challenge on top of that: don't evolve any of your pokemon. So if you catch a Magikarp - yeah I'm going there - then you can only stick with the Splash-happy-Tackling Magikarp; no Gyarados for you.

How about Monotype, or Monopoke, and no using items?

If you really wanted a challenge, you can always take the Nuzleaf challenge.

It's called Nuzlocke, not Nuzleaf.

There are a ton of challenges in the (surprise!) Challenge forum. Just check those out! And if you can't find any there, feel free to ask for suggestions in the CI&D thread. That's basically the challenge chit-chat thread and plenty of regulars would love to help you either find a challenge or help you think of your own. :)
