    Hello! I'm EmberFyre but you can just call me Ember. I've played Pokemon since I was a kid and was given a used copy of pokemon sapphire. (As you can imagine I am super excited about the remake of sapphire although I hope they can do that glorious game justice!) I have always been fond of fire type pokemon and my first starter was a torchic. I really look forward to making new friends here in the pokecommunity!
     
    Hello and welcome to PC, Ember! I remember starting out my Pokemon gaming career with Ruby/Sapphire as well, although it was Ruby in my case and my starter was Mudkip. But I guess that's because I like Water-types better, but Torchic's still great in its own right.

    I know everyone's looking forward to the remakes since we have yet to see Hoenn get 3D graphics and now that so much has changed since the originals I'd love to see them not only recapture the original story but also make it feel fresh at the same time. Feel free to discuss the games over in the OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire board here, and also share your thoughts on what you think may come in the new games. Can't wait to get the games and reunite with my beloved Mudkip once again.

    I'm sure the remakes will be quite amazing. ;3 Can't believe we're already getting them.. even though it's been ten years now it still shocks me that remakes are right around the corner, haha. Good to meet you and welcome, Ember.

    My top types are ghost, grass, and electric but fire also has some really wonderful ones. I was happy we got a speed boost Torchic through a WiFi event in X/Y but never used it past Combusken. :( Thinking of buying Y since I have X already to play through and use one of my hidden ability Torchics. Been way too long since I used it on my team!
