Hey there, I'm Cricket64 and I am new to the community but an old Pokemon fan. I remember playing it back on my GameBoy Color and playing Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Snap/Pinball, etc. I love all the adorable creature designs they come up with for the new Pokemon and their evolved states. :)

I'm here because I want to make some fellow Pokemon fans and meet some new possible friends! c:

I'm a bit shy so I apologize of this is short. u.u

Um..I like to play video games, read, write, draw, paint, act, listen to music, read poetry and write it sometimes, play tennis and hanging out with my fiance or family.

I'm currently in college majoring as an English teacher! :)

I hope we can all be friends and to meet fans new and old alike!

Hey there, sweetie! Great welcome to the forums for ya, and it's a pleasure to meet you. I remember playing the old pokemon games too; the ones for the N64 were really, really amazing! I used to be stuck on playing Pokemon Stadium all the time, in which the Gym Battles were pretty tough, and the pokemon seemed really ferocious at the time, you know? I didn't play Pokemon Snap all that much, but when I did, it was a really great experience learning about the pokemon! I really wish they would make more pokemon games like those. <3

Well now, if you're looking for new buds, you've come to the right place! I'd say that PC has some of the most friendly and approachable pokemon fans that you'll meet, and I'm really sure that they would love to get to know you! Don't be shy on speaking with them! We've got all kinds of pokemon boards for you, and there's even boards that suit your interests, like Video Games, Fanfiction and Writing, Culture and Media, and the Art and Design board! Video Games is where you can, you know, talk about all kinds of video games, in which, which ones do you love playing, by the way? Cause I looove playing the Fire Emblem and Legend of Zelda series, and a ton of a lot more! The writing board is where you can see the stories, or poems that members have made, and you can even post your own! In the Culture and Media board, you can talk about all different forms of media, like music, and you can share your art works over at the art and design board, as well as see what members have created too!

It's really cool on what you're pursuing, by the way! I'm studying to become a chemical engineer myself! Welcome to the forum, Cricket64! Wow, that's such a pretty avatar. Did you draw it yourself, or was it by someone else? :] You've been playing Pokémon from GBC/second generation, right? Which was your first game? For me, my first gen two game was Pokémon Silver. Got it few months after it was released, and finished it within about two to three weeks. The game was very addicting for me, haha. Second would be Gold, and Crystal was my third. Don't worry about shyness--I'm quite shy myself. Wish I wasn't, but... that's just the way I am, and I have to accept it. You just can't change yourself overnight, can you?

Just like you, I love video games. Aside from Pokémon, one of my most favorite series would be Legend of Zelda. Was introduced to it when I was about six or seven, and fell in love with it instantly. My favorite Zelda game would have to be Skyward Sword. The art style's amazing, and its story is very easy to be engaged with. Are you into LoZ? If so, then which is your favorite game? Besides Zelda, I'm also quite a big fan of Rayman. Are you into that as well? Hope you do, because the more stuff we have in common, the more things we'll have to talk about! (:

You're a tennis player? Cool! I've played it before, but that was a long, long time ago. Seven years, I think. Maybe eight. What else do you play? Personally, I really like playing volley ball. Used to play it regularly when I was in high school.

Hey there, thanks for the welcome Nymphadora! Sadly, I did not make the Slyveon avatar or signature... I wish I had that talent to still make signatures and avatars but I haven't messed around with Photoshop in a while D;
My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Yellow Version! I remember the long hours of grinding my Pokemon and facing the original Gym Leaders! My favorite Gym Leader was Misty back in the day~
Omgosh, I LOVE the Legend of Zelda series. o: My favorite in the series is probably Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess. c: I love the story behind Skyward Sword and the legend of the goddess and her hero, etc. I played Rayman a while back and it didn't catch my interest sadly D;
I've been playing a lot of Pokemon X lately and Animal Crossing though~ I also got into the Persona games and Elder Scrolls games. :)
I played tennis for my high school and then I play a little bit now and again with my mom or sister, it's really fun and gets your thighs into shape, lol.

Ooh though, I haven't played ACNL in ages. One of my favorite villagers moved away because I neglected the game for a while and now I'm finding it even harder to come on, though I'm considering making a new town or buying a new game to start from scratch. It's tough but fun to build back up again and I would love to experiment with new villagers. Be sure to check out the Video Games board to discuss gaming since it's clear you're really into it. On a gaming note.. I need to finish A Link Between Worlds. Been a week or two and I'm still in the same part of the story.
