What's the meaning / origin behind having "8th Sin - Apostasy" as your username's subtitle?

To put it shortly, the subtitle is a reference to the major fault in my life that I have committed, which is lack of faith towards everyone including self.
Much of the problems in my life were the result of me wearing different masks while leaving my original self to languish. Because I had no faith in myself.

Thus, the 8th Sin, with its counterparts being Piety (Virtue) & Lunacy (Self-Harm). Part of taking care of oneself in spiritualistic manner is cultivating ones faith.
(I hope this doesn't make me come off as a religious zealot, but this is the shortest response I can go with.)

The reason we haven't done so is largely due to my own overcautiousness. I did have to spend a big part of this year dealing with unfinished business from the previous community I used to be part of.

What's your favourite video game of all time?

This one's a bit tricky since I tend to be one of those people who are not that picky when it comes to games. But if I need to have a small list of favorites which will eventually be surpassed by other games once I start going through the sizable backlog I have lying around: Final Fantasy Tactics, Pokemon MD1/PSMD, SMT IV, Library of Ruina & Gran Turismo 4.

What's a piece of media you think is a hidden gem more people should know about?

I don't exactly like being a mouthpiece for this one since the EN side of the community has been quite rabid recently, but I'd say the Project Moon games & associated media are worth at least a try for the story. The only game I wouldn't recommend is Limbus Company because of that game being a gacha game.

What's a piece of advice you'd give to your future self?

The importance of showing restraint when making decisions. If I ever want to achieve what I feel I must IRL, I need to be capable of not letting emotional turbulence sway my judgment.

Do you have any interesting/unique talent or party trick?

I am multitalented neurologically while slightly handicapped physically. Of course, such talents are useless unless you actually seek to refine them, something I was not mentally capable of doing as a child. But at least I have managed to keep up my skill in singing & manipulating my own voice to often comedic effects.

I've tried my hardest to find a way to train my other artistic skills, but my inferiority complex is still a problem I have to deal with on the regular.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

I have no desires to impose on the world, for I believe mankind should work to see their vision to the end instead of wishing for powers that be hand it to them on a silver platter.
But if I had to wish for something, I'd wish to have received a better family.

How has your time on PokeCommunity been so far?

Thanks to putting the lessons I've learned about modern online communities to use, not bad at all. I'd say I've handled my interactions with this place with sufficient amount of competence.

My motivations regarding joining here was to gain information regarding fan game development including available options for engines in hopes that I don't have to jump through as many RL hoops to get started as well as to establish a presence here so that if worse comes to pass and I have to convert the fan game into a new IP, I'd have one more place to do some PR in.
