Question: Ability to Delete your own account.

Simple really. Is it possible? If yes, why isn't it allowed here?

We occasionally have accounts hacked, so think if someone came in and deleted a lot of users, or even just all the mods. It could get really annoying.

There could be a hack for vBulletin that allows users to do so, but it being added to PC is incredibly unlikely. Administrators are the only members of the forum who have the ability to delete accounts, since that's done through the administrator control panel and they don't delete accounts unless there's a very, very good reason for it and even then it's still a small possibility for them to delete your account.

And no, you no longer wanting to be a member of PC does not suffice as a valid reason.

I don't recall there ever being an account hacking here during my time on the staff. People use that as a reason for misbehaving when they get an infraction or it results in them getting banned all the time, though. But it's highly unlikely that that's true.
