    The guy who challenged Ash in the beginning of the game, does anyone know what his name was supposed to be?

    Because I saw a picture of him labeled "Uncle", and I need to know his name for my game hack (located in my signature).

    Can anyone help? Is "Uncle" good enough?
     
    Raymond. Though he was not technically given a name in the movie, hey, what can't Bulbagarden provide, Pokemon-wise?
     
    The Art of Pokemon: the First Movie has him labeled as "Pirate Trainer." Raymond was just his voice actor. But, either or, right?

    It wasn't a town - it was some pier near the ocean (I don't recall it ever being named).

    I'm not sure if this is the ACTUAL name of the port, but the Brainwashed Joy did mention on that holographic card that they should get to New Island from a place known as "Old Shore Warf", and since the destination they left for New Island on was a Port, I'd say that the town was known as Old Shore Warf (Then again, I'm not entirely sure if that is the ACTUAL name of the town, but it seemed pretty close.).
     
    Name it Death Island or something.

    Go check Bulbapedia. It knows all.

    And the dude is either Raymond or what I shouted when I saw the movie...BURGLAR!!!
