Who started the game already and not knowing about this?

I'm a perfectionist, so it's hurts me badly to find out that my game is not at it's best. :x

I don't sell things... EVER! I rather make money out of battling random NPCs. I get more money that way.

My, my, my. You are a perfectionist, aren't you? It's not that hard to find someone who will trade you a Cranidos. If I had Wi-Fi, I could trade you one. If you don't like the name I have and you don't want me as the OT, then I'd trade you a Cranidos egg. It's really not that big a deal. You're just throwing it ouf of proportion.
 
This is why I love having Spiritombs, they're basically gift certificates for whatever you'd want to ask for in the GTS.

I didn't know this about the ID number, though. It explains the complete lack of Armor Fossils in my Underground exploits...

No, just because you can't get one single pokemon doesn't ruin the whole game, maybe for you but you can easily get the pokemon you want.

Sell them, toss them, or trade them. If you don't like them filling up space then just rid of them.

If I had wifi I would trade you the pokemon you want but I don't, even if some people in the gts ask for unfair trades doesn't mean everyone in the world is like that. If you have a friend in real life who plays pokemon trade with them, or ask for the pokemon you want on this forum.

It's very funny because I've already said that I'm a perfectionist a couple of posts back.
 
Seems to me like the problem isn't a flaw in the game - it's you. You DO realize there are multiple pokemon you can't get straight out of Platinum? Why is this particular one any different. Is it really so hard for you to just go to the WiFi area of the PC and request someone trade you the pokemon you want for one that you have? There are plenty of nice people on the PC that don't even mind giving out freebies. As for you never selling anything, well, that's just idiotic and pointless. What do you do when you get stardust and nuggets? Hang on to them because they're pretty? Personally this whole thread seems to be an enormous waste of both my time and yours, because in the time it took for you to whine that you couldn't get this fossil in your game, you could have simply gone to the WiFi area and found someone to trade you one. If you don't like trading, it is impossible to complete your pokedex anyway and its been that way since the original Red and Blue games.

Meh, I simpily DON'T care. Why? I cheated a lot in D/P/P. I simpily cheated all of the Fossils as well.

it doesnt really bother me too much, though. I havent tried to complete a pokedex since..I think Gold. There are just simply too many pokemon :P
But like others suggested, you should really trade for it :)

Dude some people hate trading. In The Gts Everyone asks for Lvl 100 pokemon or Legendaries. You Never know if your getting a hacked or cheated pokemon. then people give them Hm's. and if you don't have enough badges they will continue to disobey you until almost the 6th or 7th gym which is not fair for people who want them earlier. and its not fun if they get to such a high level that they faint everything one hit with high stats because it wouldn't be a challenge then it would be a piece of cake. Just Saying.
