The Pokedex is the source of pretty much everything we know about every Pokemon. It's what gives them "character" and reveal little fascinating (or horrifying, looking at you Spoink) things about them.
But there are some Pokedex entries where you read them and can't help but comment with a "That can't be right".
Most egregious example, Magcargo's Sapphire pokedex entry (and subsequent ones) proudly states that his body is as hot as 18,000 degrees F, or almost 10'000 Celsius.
For reference, the sun's surface is around 9000 F/5000 C.
Magcargo should literally be double as hot as the sun, which is obviously absurd.
Interestingly, his "original" entries from Gold/Silver/Crystal simply state that his body is as hot as lava, which makes much more sense.
What do you think about Pokedex dex entries like this? Do you consider them "canon" even if they are obviously unrealistic/impossible even in the face of Pokemon logic or do you disregard them as just flavor text or just don't care?
Are there other entries that stood out to you like this and made you think about them?
