[PokeCommunity.com] Advance Map Error: ENot a Pointer

When I'm trying Route 1, it always loads this error

Am I right in assuming this happened on an edited ROM?

If that's the case, what did you do it before trying to open it with Advanced Map? If you used Advanced Map to edit this map previously, it likely incorrectly wrote a pointer to something on Route 1, like an event.

My last thing I did was editing the map. and when I loaded it again, that message popped up

Then your problem was likely Advanced Map screwing up a pointer somehow. It does that sometimes.
Does the map still work in-game?

The A-Map still works in game...
I have 4 maps that make that pop up appear, and when I shifted to another map it always ask if I want to save wild data even though I haven't edited the wild pokemon data

Well then it seems the wild Pokemon data has been corrupted. Make a back up of your ROM first, then allow it to save the wild Pokemon data.
Maybe that will fix the error.

I dont think the wild data is the problem is the wild data, It doesnt have wild data cuz I haven't added Wild datas, and its fine when I didnt reload it

Well then I'm not really sure what to say. I've never really encountered this specific problem myself...
Still, it be worth following my suggestion. You can always remove the data later. Plus, if you backed it up, it wouldn't hurt to try.

Tried and the pop up keeps on appearing

Hi I'm getting a similar issue to the post,
editing route 4, pokemon fire red. was adjusting surf and fishing rod encounters.
I tested in game and i can reach the route just seems to be broken in advance map.

Hmm yes. Reviving a post from 7+ years ago.

Better to make a new one brotato.

PS. I'm not sure of the answer either. Just try redownloading AMap or something.
